Arnold gives me hope that republicans and democrats can be good people and not obsessed with hatred of people they disagree with. I understand the anger caused by the culture war, and I can get really upset by republicans just like they get upset at me. Yet I long for a time where we can come back together as neighbors and fellow Americans and be a healthy community again. We need to learn to respectfully agree to disagree and accept each other as human beings and equals and stop hating each other for being different; to trust in democracy and the constitution; to have healthy debates without attacking each other, demonizing and dehumanizing each other. It’s ok to have different cultures, opinions, beliefs, and values. We don’t even have to like each other, but we need to tolerate and accept each other to live in peace and have a healthy nation. We need each other, it’s a fact. We are all a part of a community that depend on each other in so many ways. I hear people who sincerely talk about a war happening between us, some even seem to want it. Neighbors killing each other. A hellish nightmare of death and destruction. If something like that really happens, we will all lose. We will defeat ourselves and bring about the downfall of our great nation. Enemies of freedom will stab us in the back while we fight amongst each other. Our children will be harmed and even killed in a civil war. It must never happen again, lest we destroy what our ancestors have built for us with their very lives. America is not perfect, but we are doing the best we can to be good people and do what we believe is right. We are all human beings who deserve to live in peace and have freedom, to work and protect our families, to pursue life, liberty, and happiness. Please focus on love and patience and turn away from rage and hatred. Our future depends on it. Thank you for reading. Sending love. ❤

Great parenting tips from the Governator. Two lessons I learned from wise parents...A teenage boy slammed his bedroom door after an argument with his dad, the dad removed the bedroom door for a week. The second came from a dad whose daughter pushed curfew, he took her car away one day for every minute she was late. Brilliant!
