As Christians, we should strive for Godly success first, then success in other things God has for us will come.

Some Biblical advice I try to remember when setting my goals:

I must manage well what God has already given me. As he adds to, I will already be in the habit of managing well.

Ensure money & success is not where my love & devotion is focused. There’s nothing wrong with having financial success, just as long as it is not where your heart lies.

“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”” Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Always remember the less fortunate and help others. The Bible tells us specifically who to help, give to the widows (those with no family to help her, there is even an age out on this 1 Timothy 5), the orphans, the weak, the helpless. God does not command us to help those who have not because they continually make bad decisions or squander their money on things & expect others to pay their bills or feed them.

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing.”

Excellent! Just what I needed to hear after a tough few years. Here is what I learned.

Morning routine:

1. Pray and Meditate
2. Read
3. Listen to audio books
4. Write dreams and goals
5. Exercise


Speak in the direction you want your life to go.

When you say something related to your future, such as goals or situation, say "And that's just the way I want it". If that's not how you want it, don't say it!

Success is in your routine.

You can't have a million dollar dream with minimum wage habits.
