14. Busta Rhymes (one of the few rappers my parents let me listen to at 8 years old and loved it to this day)
15. Canibus - sadly underappreciated and could’ve been top 5 material if he went mainstream :(
16. LL Cool Jay - ruled the late 80’s and I have to give him respect for being an OG.
17. MF Doom - beats were insane to jam to and chill. Probably the most chill rapper to listen to besides snoop
18. Snoop Dogg - Most would put him above 15, but to be honest he was carried by Dre’s beats and his rhymes were pretty good but not better than the other rappers here. Loved to listen to him daily however.
19. Prodigy (Mobb Deep was the best duo in the east coast scene and prodigy killed it for the little time he went solo.)
20. Big L (The song Put It On is easily in my top 5 rap songs of all time. However, I can’t put him higher because he died too early. Really sad for me personally and wish he’d gone on to be another NAS. He had the potential to be top 5 material here. RIP)
