Wow such a wonderful collection. 😻.
I have a paludarium (on my channel) could I trouble you to suggest a couple of miniature orchids for my setup? Thanks either way 😊
Thanks Howard; I never get bored listening to you talking about those lovely orchids, big or tiny.
ОтветитьGreat collection of tiny orchids. I hope to see more plants in your collection. Thanks for posting
ОтветитьWhere do you buy these rare mini orchids? I can't find them anywhere
ОтветитьI just love you and your orchids, Howard. I hope you are well.
ОтветитьI like minis but don't really have the room for it (intermediate to warm/hot) I got myself a Panmorphia Minutalis (pleurothalid family) it gave me one almost invisible flower, really tiny, do you have any tips on reblooming it.
ОтветитьVery nice to see all these awesome plants, so happy.
ОтветитьHi Mr Howard, I love love your minis.....they are so well kept and lovely. Do feature them more in your future episodes. Really admire your amazing collection of the big and minis. Very inspiring. Thank you
ОтветитьLovely collection! I wouldn’t mind longer videos :) a good subject for a future video might be a showcase of a few easy mini’s that you’d recommend to people wanting to try their first mini’s. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!
Ответитьfirst time viewing one of your videos thanks for the share Howard. I love your enthusiasm and the blue pin idea for cooler is ingenious.
ОтветитьHoward is awesome! Taylor from Colorado here! His information is good, straightforward, and to the point! He truly inspired me to get orchids. In my case, miniature orchids! I already have an Orchidarium setup and it works quite well! If you plan on getting into orchids, Howard is a good resource! I would love to go see his orchid, greenhouse someday! It looks immaculate!
Ответитьamazing orchids! Just got into miniature orchids 1 years ago and i cant get enough of them! Any tips on the lepantes teliopogonflora? I got it like 2/3 months ago and it does not seem to make any progress. I got it in a box with good a good light source and a ton of other orchids which are doing fine. But the teliopogonflora not as much. the humidity is usually around 80-90 percent
ОтветитьSo interesting and enjoyable. Could be longer. 😁thank you.
ОтветитьGlad to find your channel....amazing..they cost a lot right? Where do you get them from
ОтветитьStunning collection
ОтветитьNice video :-) i love smal Orchids too:-) u got a good webbshop to Recommend?
Ответитьthere are also several miniature versions of dendobriums. They look really cool. I saw them near around traditional plant market here in west indonesia (humidity is high enough so people just put them near the road or pratically anywhere). Most of beautiful/advanced hybrids are from thailand, however. Kinda cheap.
ОтветитьHi Howard. I really love your channel. I love your passion and knowledge. I’m a novice orchid grower. I grow my orchids on my balcony in Sydney. They can stay there all year except the Phalaenopsis. Sydney at the moment is around 28 degrees and around 70 to 90 % humidity. The orchids are loving it but I’m not!
ОтветитьYOU GOT YOURSELF A NEW FAN AND SUBSCRIBER SIR
ОтветитьThis is fantastic! I live in the U.S., where would I find miniature orchids to purchase to grow? Thank you!
ОтветитьWow, what a wonderful video. I have very similar growing condition, would love to grow some miniatures ,you may have started a new venture. Please make these little beauties a regular part of your coverage.👌😊✅
ОтветитьHi Howard, just found your channel and am looking forward to watching the rest of your videos.
Just one question - did you suggest gorse bark as an alternative to cork? Subtitles are coming up as goose! 😂
I have a very small collection, that tend to concentrate on orchids from the Himalayas with a few 'gifts' thrown in. I have also started an intermediate terrarium and started to grow a few miniatures so found this video very interesting. Don't mind you talking all day at all!
Thank you for this! I’ve been looking for videos of miniature orchids and this was one of my favourites that I came across. You have a stunning orchid collection and I hope one day mine will be similar 😂💙
ОтветитьHi can you please do one on platystele Beatrice miniature orchid if you happen to have it ...
ОтветитьWe're sell this love video
ОтветитьHi Howard do you sell this these or where could I buy them
ОтветитьThank you Howard. I’m just fascinated by your greenhouse and orchid setups. I live in SW Florida and grow my orchids outdoors year round in a screened garden room. I’ve learned so much from you about growing bare root orchids. I was unfamiliar with virgin cork. The moss is a wonderful addition. Mosses are so beautiful. I’m inspired to try this. I have used driftwood and fern bark, but I believe this will be a much better option. I look forward to your future posts. I’ve watched this one multiple times. Please do share as much as you like.
Ответитьconsidering i see moss growing , humidity must be high in the green house
ОтветитьThe first one is stunning. Please we want more Miniature orchids videos
ОтветитьBeautiful orchid collection, I wish I have a greenhouse like this to grow lots of beautiful plants 🪴
ОтветитьWow! Your collection looks amazing- That tiny orchid is mind blowing! I aspire to have a greenhouse like yours!I will definitely be subscribing😍🪴☮️
ОтветитьСпасибо за обзор, pleurothallis dressleri - прекрасен!Не знала о таком виде! Вы -молодец! Ваши миниатюрные орхидеи отлично смотрятся ! С приветом из России!
ОтветитьWould love to see a feature on terrarium appropriate mini/micro orchids.
Ответитьhow incredible
ОтветитьSuch interesting miniatures, some I had never even heard of before! Thank you for sharing, and congrats on the 500!
ОтветитьGood beautiful morning to you Howard. It’s raining here in london.
I was hoping some advice. I’ve recently cracked the phalaenopsis orchid (the hard way). I was wondering if you had any recommendations of similar care that I can branch out to. My humidity averages 60-65% in a bedroom full of tropical plants. I’m lucky to have a north and a south facing windows. And I’m most familiar with aroids.
I find your videos so relaxing and most importantly informative. It was inevitable that I’d become addicted.
Amazing species! Great collection you have. Cant wait to see more of it!! I see some gems in te background
ОтветитьMany thanks for this episode. What exquisite miniatures. It is interesting to learn about gorse wood for mounting. Do you think an old woody broom could be used too? I might try both. Congratulations on reaching 500 viewers as well. Your channel is a favourite of mine. I learn a great deal.
ОтветитьLove the miniatures Howard. Where do you order these from in UK?
ОтветитьI love your videos, I'm always learning about new and interesting species of orchid. I'd love to see how you repot your orchids sometime, like how you have your phalaenopsis corningiana in a cork tube, how did you initially fix it to the tube? Do you provide different medium mixture for your phalaenopsis vs. oncidiums vs. dendrobiums, etc.?
ОтветитьAnother wonderful video! Thank you.
I’m just wondering where you managed to find gorse wood in the UK? I’ve been searching for a few months but haven’t been able to find a supplier
Fascinating miniatures, they are awesome! Not the easiest to grow either, it is impressive that they are all looking so good. I also really like the foliage on that angraecum distichum.
ОтветитьYou can talk about as many miniatures as you like, because i love them! Thanks for posting such interesting content.
ОтветитьCongrats Howard on reaching over 500 subscribers! And I cannot even believe the miniature and micro-
mini collection you own and flower. 🤩👍🏻
Congratulations on the 500 mark! Lovely miniatures you have. I’m more a big and bold kinda Guy , but miniatures have their charme aswell. I could listen to you all day, so stop editing the video’s and make them longer ! 😊 Looking forward to the next video. Cheers.
ОтветитьRidiculously enjoyable episode! Added Pleurothallis dressleri to my list (although not in stock) - the leaves are really pretty.
ОтветитьVery interesting, is the bark that goes in fish tanks any good for mounting and do you have to prepare in any way. I'm interested in trying mounts.
ОтветитьGood day. Beautiful collection 😍 my smalest are aerangis fastuosa and aerangis punctata
Ответитьoh this video was not too long at all I would've easily watched for another hour. The ceratochilus biglandulosus is awesome
Ответить
