Oh you hold your pen completely different than children in germany learn to.
Here, they learn to hold the pen between the thumb and the tip of the index finger, the middle finger lies behind it, so that the pen lies between the tip of the thumb, the tip of the index finger and the second joint of the middle finger. and the fingers should be kept loose and straight and not bent too much.

Keeping letters height the same isn't really a good thing , sometimes the readers can find it difficult to differentiate between h and n.

My mind be racing too much as I'm writing and I have to get things out on paper! I can write neater that usual if I'm writing slowly and with intent. But usually, I'm too focused on getting what I need to get out on paper.

What pens do you use?

With the change one letter at a time, i did that with my “y” and “g” when i was young i would do a loop at the descend and then i stopped and started to do a short curve instead but then i started just writing my “y” and “g” with a loop again. Also i did the same thing the first time i started looping my “y” and”g”

If I wrote this slow It would take 4x as long. This isn’t practical in real world practice nor does it look healthy to try to make every letter perfect.

Huh. we both hold the pen the same way it seems. i do this too because the "typical" way of holding a pen for me gives me very little control on the pen. i probably have some kind of death grip as a result tho but eh.
