he’s getting more frags in diamond because diamond players aim at head level and his crouch offsets their crosshair placement. He treats this game as a deathmatch and i think that’s what’s holding him back.

Reyna deserves high gold at most. Low play at the moment and I have way better aim than him and reflex

he does deserve plat or sth, his aims pretty good, could use some more gamesense (like flashing and shifting) but in a functioning team, he will perform well.

i am radiant, i dont believe in players being "held down" by their teammates, because when i was first placed, i was placed bronze 3 and climbed to diamond in under a month by crutching instalock reyna and guardian.

youre not being held back by your team, you think youre better than them and that makes you think you have the ability to lock in duelist every game and try to solo carry. the reality is for most of these people is that they deserve one, at most two ranks higher than what theyre currently in, and theyll be held down because they have a mental of comparable strength to a wet piece of toilet paper, and they think they deserve a rank way higher than they actually do which makes them gravitate towards the duelist role, which ultimately is why theyre held down.

the duelist is the only role in the game where your aim needs to be gifted, especially in higher elo, if youre not diffing your duels, you shouldnt be on a duelist, youll be held down by it. if your aim isnt gifted and youre stuck, you should swap to a role or agent where you can learn to have impact. think about a gold sova, zero lineups etc. trash. compare that with a radiant sova and the first difference you think of isnt that the radiant will have insane aim, itll be lineups. and if you did gravitate towards saying their aim will be so much better first, my brother i will bite my tongue because thats levels of copium and stupidity i dont think any amount of coaching can fix

look at the difference between kayo players too, compare judgment to todo and you can see how insane kayo can be if youre not playing him like a duelist 24/7

when i first hit diamond, thats when i felt comfortable enough with my teammates to try new roles, and for a while i was a kayo main, domminating simply because i put time into customs and research. i have so many unbreakable knifes, cross map knifes, mollys like the phoenix flash molly combo in A main ascent, i have god flashes that i can do for myself, i have god flashes i can do for teammates etc, my kayo is an oppressive force worse than a plat breach spamming all his util just to get 1 kill.

youre not held down because of your teammates or your aim, youre held down because youre coping

im in elo hell as well but i cant carry myself out of it i drop 30 every game but lose cause of stupid people not knowing the game at all

Speaking from dia 3, his positioning is mid, but his impact and gamesense is pretty good. Needs a bit of work on that aim and to unbind crouch for a while

Elo Hell isn’t real and I’m saying this now cuz I used to think I was in it too until I was finally able to climb some tips if you want to climb:

1. Keep playing constantly (Don’t get off when you’re on a losing streak, don’t not get on because you’re tired or hands or cold etc)

2. Have a good mental stop blaming teammates and consider what you could’ve done better that round and be positive

3. Play more strategic aim is big but game sense will take you farther

4. Be an Egoist take fights you wouldn’t usually take and get out your comfort zone

5. Learn cross hair placements for all maps for ramps corners etc and be less predictable do weird stuff people won’t expect

6. Communicate even if your team doesn’t or try and talk crazy and just say shut up etc give callouts and say what info you gathered wether that be damage done or where you seen someone, or say who used what utility

And finally 7. DO NOT BEAT YOURSELF UP WHEN WHIFFING, HAVING A BAD GAME, DOING DUMB SHIT it happens you’re mindset should be you’re the best ever constantly

Honorable mention: do Aim Lab valorant maps and shooting range for an hour a day

I think he should learn more characters with diverse utility because once you’ve played a lot of the other roles you know better how they think.

This man doesn’t deserve anything higher than silver. Maybe g1. However he lacks a lot of gamesense, positioning and even basic crosshair placement most of the time. He barely clears, always makes noise and doesn’t even know how to correctly counterstrafe. To make it even worse his teamwork is even amateur. There’s a lot more to improve on and I’m sure even more to learn. Just because he top fragged in a diamond custom where the other team didn’t even have a good team comp doesn’t mean he deserves anything higher than where he is. The reason is because if he were to perform like this in silver lobbies wouldn’t he naturally be higher elo?
