Am I the only one or there are some problems with the latest Word Press 6.3. There are numerous glitches I am experiencing since the upgrade

Not impressed. Just another cosmetics update. I expected more functional updates, to move Block theme mode forward. Block theme mode is so crippled when compared to classic themes. It seems to be targeted for non tech users with simple requirements and expects them to manually enter or set static site content.

For those needing to control content in more advanced and dynamic form (with use of custom post types, custom taxonomies and fields, or even parametrized content creation) it is still very primitive and in some cases unusable.

Lots of great features, seems quite inspired by the Wordpress Divi Builder/Theme, many of those features have been standard in their setup for years. heheh

I want WP to break free from PHP, the barriers of WP-powered websites.

Blocks are plain horrible. I will stick to page builders. AND I hate premade themes as they are hard to change into actually working and tailored websites. They taste like plastic. So far this kind of changes are ok for those that have low expectations and no ambition.

Whatabout woo mmerce why is still hard to customize ...

As someone who has never built a site, to knowing that i can have AI help me get the quick basics down to get started, ((which seems to be the biggest hurdle for entrepreneurs & DIY ppl)), I am so excited about this new feature! Now i can go ahead get the basic concept down, eventually upgrade the site amd pages as needed etc. Yeah i am all around happy to dive in to a hobby hahah

Great video thank you. I do pick up that WordPress is deliberately avoiding terminology that was created to be logical and universal; such as blocks, sections, modules and global. It is a pity since it might divide the current independent ecosystems to be more fragmented, and they might be discouraged to develop future integrations.

So is no Customizer. WP was so dificult to work with. Never could find my website header, where to change it. It was realy time to get upgraded.

These features have existed for so long in the Flatsome Theme lol

the problem with blocks is that it is hard to design a good one. I hate having to do anything regarding css inside the blocks. If blocks can just be seperated just for the functionality it provides. That will really chang eeverything. Cauz it will mean you can acutally have third party libraries included with the site seamlessly.

Is it worth upgrading my WordPress site to the beta? I'd like to try out these new features but I am worried it could corrupt my WordPress install. What do you think? Should I upgrade to the beta?

The command pallete will be powerful IF they think in terms of actions on objects, verbs on nouns. Users always as support questions in the form of "how do I (action) on (object). Map the navigation to the users thinking.

I don't know about you but this is getting insanely complex on how to build ecommerce sites. I don't know how my customers will adapt to such huge changes.

I have always thought that WP has been a bit cumbersome to deal with. Now it is getting easier. It is also great that the performance is enhanced. I am looking froward to this.

Why are Wordpress Navbars so boring and Bootstrappy? I've never seen a pleasing looking nav area in any wordpress site. I've had a go at trying to sex them up a bit but i find Wordpress daunting over what I can do with CSS.
