This is kinda true for me I always got told can’t remember who but they would say something along the lines of “crying is weak “ or “never show anyone your crying they will see the reaction and be even worse “ I think my dad would say this but I’m not sure and now I slap myself each time I cry as it’s weak

Me irl I have strict parents like literally I barely cry anymore and when im with my friends and everyone is crying they look at me confused and when I want to cry I just say suck it dummy(usually I say it a little hursher)your for no stupid reading 😢

This is relatable my dad will always treat me like a boy and tell me to suck it up like boys so now when I have a panic attack, I am literally whispering myself in a ball crying to suck it up.😢😢

I can just imagine y/n saying this to her father while he like does the little disintegrate thing

You try to catch your breath, failing miserably at every attempt. Tom knocks on the door as you lay on the floor
T: Liv? Are you in there?..I’m coming in because I ha-
He sees you sobbing on the floor, whispering to yourself, “suck it up”
T: hey hey hey, what’s wrong?
He crouches down, sitting you up. You grip onto him, hyperventilating

O: th-the lamp, um the, the c-curtains, the bed, the uh, the d-door a-and the, the..Tom it’s n-not helping!
You fold into a ball
T: no no, you aren’t doing that
The door opens as Mattheo stands with a slightly maddened look on his face
M: Tom I’m gonna kill yo- liv? What’s wrong?
He sits next to you, holding you close
T: I’ve got dark arts, can you stay with her?
He whispers so you don’t hear. Mattheo nods as Tom places a kiss on your forehead and walks out of the room
M: hey, you gonna talk to me?
You shake you head

Mattheo draws shapes on your back, calming you down quickly
M: you ok?
You nod, breathing slowly
