Wait a minute. 😅 With the map Harry could also see the danger coming. So the twins didn't really do anything bad in my opinion.
But the title "How did Fred and George solve the map". How did they do anything? 😂 They are brilliant! 😅 Nobody knows and they are the only students in the entire books who experiment with spells!! Well, beside from the map's makers and obviously Snape when he we as a student. But in their time?! The one and only!
Spoiler alert just in case
And I cried just as much about Fred than I cried about Sirius btw. It was especially cruel to me, since I am a twin myself.
Edit: That is indeed a good try of figuring out what happened...niiiice
Solid theory! This is one of your best, in my opinion.
Ответитьif i would have changed anything about the books i'd have had the twins go on the horcrux mission mostly to have more time with them but also i think the ministry/gringots infiltrations would have been way easier with a pair of master troublemakers on the team
Ответитьit makes sense that desendets of the maraduers would also see the og maraduer i.e harry saw pwttigrew
ОтветитьIn the books, lupin says that the map will only show an animagus if the reader new they were
ОтветитьI'd always assumed the map prompted them in some way.
ОтветитьProblem. How did Harry see Peter on the map if only the Marauders can see other Marauders on said map?
ОтветитьOk but if only marauders can see other marauders in the map then how come Harry could see Peter in the map?
ОтветитьOr Peeves or one of the ghosts saw a Marauder use it then later told the twins. Fred & George would have questioned the spirits while investigating the history of the parchment.
Also, if anyone besides Snape or a Marauder tried to use the map it probably stayed blank. That would make that person look foolish commanding blank paper to do something. A good joke.
Harry can see him cause he is a muarader by blood
ОтветитьThe most important question is why did you leave this annoying loud low hum in your video?
Ответить♥️🥰🫶🏻✨♥️
ОтветитьOk wait. Your theory says it reveals the marauders map only to the marauders but Harry isn’t one of the marauders, he’s come to own the map the same way Fred and George did.. passed down to him.. he wasn’t one of the original creators..
ОтветитьThe thing about the marauders only being able to see each other on the map doesn't quite make sense. Cause Harry can see Pettigrew on the map.
ОтветитьI'm going to guess they thought the Marauders man would help him hide or escape from Sirius
ОтветитьOnly issue with the only Marauders can see Marauders on the map, is Snape sees Sirius on the map
ОтветитьIt’s so out of the character of Hermione to cast the Avada Kedavra curse, especially on house elves.
ОтветитьHow were they ever able to see Peter petigrew
Ответитьthe theory that only other marauders can see each other on the map doesn't work because harry was able to see peter?
Ответитьyou can sift the kernels using the bag the popcorn came in. look it up lol
ОтветитьI always thought Fred and George would have been great together on a daily radio show! Imagine them as you made your way to work with these two. Just thinking about it makes me laugh. Oh well. I am sure these brothers made out well and are happy.
ОтветитьMam is showing only people who reader knows or heard of. Its my headcanon
ОтветитьSo I’m listening with my skull candy crushers, bass boost at blast and I’m calling yall out on using binaural frequency layering with your voice audio!! lol it 💜💜💜
ОтветитьI always imagined that The Marauders had decided when leaving school The Map would be of little future use to them, so they'd to bequeath The Map to the next set of worthy mischief makers, and had enchanted It with the desire to be used by similar people; much the way the wand chooses the wizard~ let The Map find those future worthy mischievous students; mischievous, but not with dark/evil intent.
Where else better than Filch's office? Filch would never be able to use it, The Map would never allow him to, probably only insulting remarks much as It did with Snape. but Filch's office is where "Trouble Makers" of the sort The Marauders would have respected, were sure to be taken at one time or another.
Then, after The Map found The Twins, IT accepted THEM, Much the way a wand may shift alliances, It Chose Them then They choose a new suitable {enchantment/password} to open The Map, as one may present a computer with a new PIN or Password when personalizing it for the first time...
It was probably accidental
They had the random peice of parchment on the table or something.
Fred is questioning George "hey why tf did you grab a random parchment from filches office?"
George, with the intention of drawing a giant pp because it's funny goes "trust me, I solemnly swear I am up to no good Fred. This will be hilarious"
3 seconds later, the marauders map opens, Fred and George are confused, but nonetheless excited about all the mischeif that they can commit with their newly found toy
I subscribe more to the idea that it's an artifact of the school like the room of requirement, maybe even created by the room itself. And if anything its probably not a Griff item. They are too courage to stop and create a map, risking it all. It's slytherin in nature, answering they are up to no good. Maybe it was a ravenclaw item, knowledge without purpose, and it was on 100% of the time. Then our favorite 4 trouble makers added a lock to it. My favorite part of your video is how Fred and George figured it out. I assume the key was given with it by the room itself. I like yours much better
Ответитьadditionally in order to work within Hogwarts it must be made OF Hogwarts... and its actually piggybacking on the headmaster's access.
ОтветитьIs it just me or that video could have been 4 minutes long?
ОтветитьHarry isn’t a Marauder, so how did he see Peter Petegrew on the map?
ОтветитьOk but how did they sort house's before the sorting hat was made?
ОтветитьI have a theory that James used the invisibility cloak somehow when making the map. Because the map is the exact opposite of the cloak in that the show doesn't hide anyone. And it can "see through" the cloak which is a hallow. 🧐
ОтветитьBefore the video gets going let me state my theroy.
The map was written by mischeivous kids calling themselves maruaders.
The Weasley twins are so mischievous that PEEVES wound up listening to them once as they left hogwarts.
The map recognized this mischievous spirit in them and would flicker if they guessed a similar password.
Edit: spelling
whoever has been editing these videos (particularly this one and the thanksgiving hot wing quiz) needs a raise. absolutely ROARING 😂
ОтветитьBut how did harry see peter on the map, if the mauroders just be shown to the other mauroders?
Ответитьnever read the books but seen enough on here to point out one other option. Peeves (right spelling? who knows). Being an ally to the twins and most likely knowing of the map when james and friends had it, he would have known the how the map worked including the password to activate and deactivate it. The Marauders might even told the impish being to assist any who retrieved it.
ОтветитьIts an invisibility cloak not invisibility boots. He's still walking on the premapped ground
Ответитьwhat if idea: what if hogwarts was a university and not a school
ОтветитьWhy didn't they see voldemort during the first book
ОтветитьThe Marauder's Map is sufficiently awesome that I doubt it was the first edition or only copy. More than likely this was the one donated to future students. James lost his other versions when he died, never getting the opportunity to pass another copy along to his children. Sirius and Peter lost theirs as well in the aftermath. Lupin was always a goody, goody and it is likely his copy that was donated. The other copies were all likely accidentally thrown away as garbage, but again , no way the one with the fancy introduction was their first attempt.
ОтветитьIt wouldn't surprise me if the marauders had more than 1 password on the map. A general user level administered by the oath and an admin level with a phrase only the marauders knew. The map could give hints to the general user level that had safeguards such as not showing the marauders while admin access showed even the marauders.
ОтветитьI will just give my thoughts before you even get into it. I always just assumed that because the map has some sentience and can insult and interact with people attempting to read it that it possesses some aspects of it's designer's personalities and that when they found it they probably just thought it was a funny item and interacted with it and over time the map simply deemed them worthy and led them toward discovering the passphrase through testing and hints then questioning them until they made the vow that unlocks it.
ОтветитьForget about how they found the paraphrase, how did they even know it was a map and that there was a passphrase to find?
ОтветитьI would’ve found it awesome if, instead of, Fred and George finding it. Every prominent group of rule breakers, since the Mauraders, pass it down
ОтветитьI disagree, Lupin wasn’t the only one, Harry could see Peter on the mapas well!
ОтветитьWhy not pass it to an under classmate. Easy to pick a trouble making mischief making 2nd year Gryffindor and just give it to him or her.
Ответитьso no one can see the marauders on the map except other marauders, but harry can see peter on it?
Ответить
