The ISA browns are a good-looking breed, if I couldn't get my Australorps I would have got some ISA`s.

I've not ever had any ISA Browns to my knowledge. May have to get a few. The reason I say "to my knowledge" is because on several occasions over the years I've been given chickens here and there. But I don't think any were as light as those. So most likely were Rhode Island Reds.

We had some about 10 years ago, I thought they were great layers and good tempered.
Nice flock Rich!

Thank you for doing this update. I wondered about their personalities. At some point, we’re going to expand the flock. We have Black Australorps in our mix. While they are super friendly with humans, they can have moments where they’re super mean to their flock mates. They get to stay cause of the human factor, but I’ve decided to go ONLY with docile breeds. I want my hens to get along and I want my grandbaby to be able to hold one someday. So thank you for this information. On a personal note, I really like my Green Queens. They wouldn’t be ideal for someone who is selling eggs because of the production. However, they are my friendliest breed.

I think if the day ever comes for chickens at the farm, I will have vast knowledge of each one!! Thank you Mr Rich for all the great info and details, they seem to be doing really well!! You are tamping up for a great production line up daily😉😉 Thank you sir for bringing us along!! Have a great day my friend!! Cheers Mr Rich, hi to the Mrs for me!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍😁😁😁

Good knowledge to have! We’re looking at what breeds to add to our flock in the spring. (Biggest concerns are eggs and kiddos.) Enjoy the warmer weather coming up!

Hi Rich, we call these warrens in the uk. And are used in hen battery farms just for their eggs.I've had them and they are docile.

ISA browns are awesome! Tried to order a few with our order but never received them. May order them next year if we don’t hatch our own. I’m with you good layers are the ones to have. Similar looking to the golden comets. Have a great day!

We use to Rhode Island Reds. Loved them. We can't have chickens where we live now. I am hoping to have them again in retirement.

Ordered a few. Have you any health issues with them???
Been researching more and found that they are more likely to get health issues than other breeds. But I guess in time I'll find out first hand, but curious so maybe I'd have a heads up for things I need to prepare for. Thank you in advance...

Some of my red star have that white feathering around the next and white booties one is smaller and darker than the others, think isa brown, golden comet, cinnamon queen, are sort of the same, Red/white Rooster/Hen think though different birds guess that would make them look alike
