Is there a way I could translate this into measurements for a 12 month old baby? from Gerry= you did not show how to pick up 2 stitches at the armhole. I did that and I still have quite a big gap under the arm. Do I just pick up more and then decrease to get back to the desired 30 stitches? Help!

Thank goodness for this tutorial.! I read this: "*K1, K2TOG; repeat from * until you have about four or five STS left" for the sleeve as: literally knitting until the sleeve had 4-5 stitches left, total. Lol, oops!

from Gerry- I've been looking for a simple cardigan pattern and this fits the bill. I was hoping to use my hand spun yarn and perhaps if I double it, it will fit the gauge.
