Hi there, could please share the model of the new car stereo you're using. I have a 500x 2016 and I would like to replace the original car stereo as well, but I can't find a lot of information on what would be compatible and where to get it. Also could you elaborate if your needed any exta cables etc. to fit the new one onto the car? Thanks Aris

Does this have Apple CarPlay? I was watching to see the use of the number one feature people want when they do these swaps but I didn’t see it at all. My 500x has music options galore and a backup camera as well. It does not have Apple CarPlay which is what I’m looking to add.

Also I didn’t quite understand but is this plug and play? Meaning I just take out my old unit and plug in all the same wires and it will work? I have a backup camera so can I just plug the cord for it into this unit and it will work?

hi does it work with OEM rear camera and in dashboard OEM USB?, what about proximity sensor, does it retain sound or only visual warning?
