He is so childlike, still so serious about his game and so full of respect for everyone he plays, and so charming, and that smile! If I were 20 I would fall in love with him 😂 but too late now😂

Am still very excited for Alcaraz, even though he lost to Novak in the RG Semi’s, so he’s played in three Slams so far and won, one of them US open .last years RG QF this years Semi Final and lost only 4 matches so far this season. Is he someone to look out for? Definitely. As his experience gets better he’ll be incredible

The journey to world number one came when they discriminated against Novak Djokovic. It is a false record. If Djokovic had the points he deserves Alcarez would be nowhere near him. You’re welcome for clearing that up for you

Alcaraz real journey to world number 1

Australian Open: Djokovic is deported.
Indian Wells: Djokovic is banned.
Miami Open: Djokovic is banned.
Wimbledon: they take away Djokovic 2000 points.
Canadian Open: Djokovic is banned.
Cincinnati: Djokovic is banned.

Hope this helps 👍

I like Carlos.. and he is plays tennis with passion.. he is #1 but I just wish that the points change formula help him to achieve this/ a system that was change to favorite certain players like Nadal for example .. spreader to help Carlitos as well it is a bummer because at list Carlos do not need that kind of support

even with all the luck that occurred in the past two years with him, none of this wouldn't have been possible if he didn't play so hard in every match

yeah he had all that potential and definitely the circumstances were in his favour a lot of the times, but none of it was effortless. so props to him

We all know the only reason he got to number 1 - Djokovic didn't get the vaccine and didn't play in 2GS a couple of Masters and even more he didn't get his 2000 points for winning Wimbledon. Alcaraz is a good player but not yet that good for a number one. Not deserved the slightest

I wish all the best for this kid. The sport is littered with young phenoms burning out before they hit 20. We know what he’s got going for him. That’s obvious. Here’s what I think could derail him. His style is so dependent on speed and defense he needs to remain vigilant with his training, stay flexible, strong, and consistent. As he get older he won’t be able to rely solely on his physical gifts. Just like Rafa, Roger, and Nole they adjusted their games to fit their aging bodies which gave them longevity in the sport. The last number one player that reminds me of this kid is Lleyton Hewitt. Extremely fast and quick. Wears opponents down with their physical style. Hewitt struggled once he started to slows down a bit.

We all know that he will not reach No 1 if Djokovic was allowed to play, just another illusion. Kid is good, maybe in future, but real GOAT Novak still make rules in world of tennis

Conversation between Carlos and ramos vinolas’ son :-
Kid = my father has done many great things , what have you done ?
Alcaraz = win a grand slam
Kid = oh yeah , but what have you done other than that
Alcaraz = oh I forgot ,
Kid = my father knows how to entertain people on a different level
Alcaraz = I can do the same but better
Kid = I want a different thing you have achieved
Alcaraz = defeated your papi to take my first professional tour win
Ooooooo 😎

Carlos is really something else. Hes got it all. I admire the kid. And now lets be honest. He is not legit No1, and everybody, including him knows that. How can you become legit No1 if you played only one match(he did win that) against the man you are taking down from that spot. And thats Djokovic. I will agree that Alkaraz is gonna legitimate that spot in years to come. But for now, Djokovic is No1 in my eyes. Considering all the points he was enabled to defend or earn due to the politics. Knowing that he is healthy and in good shape, you cant be unreal and say that Carlos whould be on No1 spot if things where different. Again, with all the admiration and respect to the genius kid from Spain.

Road to no.1: Đoković gets banned from AO, Đoković gets stripped of points from Wimbledon, Đoković wins Wimbledon and doesn't get any points, Đoković gets banned from US Open as well, Đoković loses like 7000 points in total and voila; you have a new no.1.... Criminal....

As someone who doesn't much of anything about professional sports injury treatments or physio related stuff, can someone explain to me what Alcaraz has on his right arm during his match against Gasquet in Umag? Seems to be some sort of compression sleeve but unlike any I have ever seen.
