How can add the eero as a bridge ? Another question can I add any of the eero models to another model eero mesh system, for example, can I add the eero 6 unit to eero 6 pro or 6 plus mesh system ?
Ответитьthe stupid "one main device" interface of the Eero is a deal breaker for me.
ОтветитьI just got my new fibre connection by giganet, and got eero 6 pro but the app is telling me that there is an issue, after I put my WiFi name and password, it can't end setup process.
The Giganet told me that is because I'm using android phone, and it works with iphon because of software. I don't believe it.
They want to send me Technicolor instead.
What do you think guys?
A power spike shuts everything down. If you are away, someone needs to go into your home and restart the modem and the eero. It’s happened twice in less than three months while we have been away. Solution seems to be an uninterruptible power supply.
ОтветитьDo you have to pay for the app?
ОтветитьDon't buy the original eero mesh. It doesn't support PPPoE which means it can't connect to the ISP.
ОтветитьAll going to be on it soon got no choice but to have it soon
ОтветитьWhy would I buy a router with only 2 ethernet ports and no USB port?
ОтветитьHad eero for last 2yrs, yes coverage for entire home 3 rooms, i also increased my mbps to 300, but you will need a mesh system
ОтветитьThis seems like a good way to get Amazon a detailed view into your entire networks Internet traffic. Both Bluetooth, wifi, nfc, nearby, or even Ethernet devices connected to with wifi access points. EVERYONE has wifi ap enabled by default. It's set up. Consider that.
ОтветитьI’ve owned it less than a year and I’m having so much trouble. My speeds were constantly max speed then all of a sudden it dropped and has been terrible for several months. Everyone saying that this is good will soon have trouble after a few months
ОтветитьIt’s not like Apple at all. It comes with a charger. Oohhh buurrnnn 😮too soon?
ОтветитьThe new gen is good enough I have no prob
ОтветитьDo you pay once and get wifi forever once you buy it?
ОтветитьEvery pod has to be connected with a patch lead? Thanks.
ОтветитьIn the UK the eero 6 supports ppoe I replaced the BT hub with it.
ОтветитьIf my isp is quite slow is it still worth getting
Ответитьeero is actually awful please if you're considering buying this DON'T. My family purchased this last month and I honestly would rather fucking shoot my self in the fucking head then to ever fucking have to deal with such shitty wifi in my life. Constant disconnects, Randomly the fucking light goes red for literally no fucking reason and for what? 300$??????? for non functioning wifi????????? holy fucking shit thats crazy. Please for the love of god no buy this shit it a actually fucking sucks so bad PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
ОтветитьHave captive portal ? Bandwidth limited ?
ОтветитьI installed one last week and had a lot of drop outs. Worked with their support but no better luck. Ended up returning it.
ОтветитьI've got one through agl and I must say it's simple looks nice and does a decent job
ОтветитьI'm convinced these things are for simpletons who love their little apps. Oh how cute. I can operate my router with my app. I would never have this. Give me a fully featured web interface any day.
ОтветитьThe easy setup is all good when everything works but the moment you run into issues (e.g. channel conflicts with neighboring wifi) the "simple" options are just not sufficient to fix any issues. Lack of advanced options and configuration make this a risky purchase.
ОтветитьWhat I find interesting is that the gen 5 Echo and echo dots work as repeaters for the Eero and the gen 4 echo and echo dots are receiving software updates to also be repeaters for Eero. What I hate is that it takes a subscription to access the advance features.
ОтветитьEero sucks
ОтветитьI mean, basically you said its a simple router thats rock solid/stable, and the higher end models have amazing wifi. I dont really see any cons. Most consumers dont need all the crazy extra stuff. Its hard enough these days to find something as solid as this product is. Look anywhere, all you see is (mostly) really good reviews, and the cons are very minor. So you have to pay for some dumb extra features? They arent even needed for the router to function really well. My only big issue I would ever have regarding this system, is what amazon might do with your data, otherwise, it sounds like I might drop my Amplifi Alien and just get something simpler and well...maybe even more reliable overall. Seems like amazon listens and slowly integrates features, and also sounds like they are constantly trying to fix things and make them work better, meanwhile alot of companies dilly dally around and never get their shit straight lol. Its not a surprise that this product is highly rated.
ОтветитьI can't stand the eero, I had a netgear router that worked perfectly, but didn't have the range I needed. I bought the eero and loved it for about a week, but ever since then, it will randomly disconnect a few times a day and leave the house without internet for 1-10 minutes. I have tried everything, and nothing seems to work. Might just have to bite the bullet and buy a new router again.
Ответить+£60 SETUP CHARGE NOT TOLD ABOUT
ОтветитьNah this thing makes almost no difference 🤣 I set em up all over my house, they’re 💩
ОтветитьHow is a specification a bad thing when that is the specification and YOU purchased it? If something doesn't fit your specs, it's not for you, so don't buy it. That's like rating an apple with a con, when you wanted a steak. WTF!
ОтветитьExcellent content, but you had me dying laughing when that you are code hit the ground…
Ответитьdoes every eero require an ethernet cable or can some be just plugged into a wall socket
ОтветитьWhat should I do if the signal keeps falling off???
ОтветитьThere not bad but they alway be updating maintenance which takes days
ОтветитьHow do I stop my pc from bouncing around to different eeros around the house
Ответитьthings has changed, eero 6+ and eero Pro 6E are now available in Australia, it support PPOE and the advance security subscription is available as well.
Ответитьi think orbi sucks..
ОтветитьIs it good for gaming because am a gamer
ОтветитьI was an early adopter of EERO. It’s the best wi-if system I’ve ever owned. It’s so simple and powerful. You won’t have to worry about fiddling with the Wi-Fi anymore, it just always works like it should.
ОтветитьVery helpful. About to go full force with my Ring Alarm Pros built in Eero.
ОтветитьBest mesh system is ASUS’s AI-mesh. I’m running 1 tri-band with 6E as the main, and two dual-band ASUS routers. Of course you can just run 3 tri-band or 3 dual-bands. All 3 of my routers are ROG and Wifi-6. At the moment my phone gets about 800mb down everywhere inside the house both up and down stairs, with smooth transition between routers. My ISP speed is 1000mb down which I do get when wired in.
Both mesh routers are wired directly to the main router and positioned to 3 areas of the house with main upstairs.
If you want to copy this, remember to set 2.4G to 40hz, channel 11, and 5G to 80hz, channel 48 with auto DFS off. Under game accel/QoS, disable QoS and game prioritizing. With WIFI-6 this isn’t necessary, for serious gamers their PC are wired in via Ethernet anyway.
looks like it replaces your retour my modem and router and same unit. Will i have to buy separate router
ОтветитьJust got it for my 729 sq ft apartment for 62$.
Ответитьeero 6 pro is shit, I am grtting half the speed of gateway standing right next to the pod
Ответитьbro this WiFi is good but my is being funky because it keeps shutting off
ОтветитьReminded!!! You said max speed 46kb & 21kb fastest internet??? Yu sir tripping
Ответитьdoes eero pro 6 improve call signal... the problem here is call signal, wifi works fine tho
ОтветитьIs it true that it requires a subscription to be used ?
ОтветитьGreat video - thanks mate.
Where did you get the details on which NBN providers use PPoE and which use DHCP?
