One of the more eloquent metal songs there is. Bruce is essentially saying he only wants to be tattooed or only be a millionaire, not both at once because that’s not who he is. He was so turned off by the typical rockstar behavior, that he wrote a song describing his feelings; class guy!

Bruce Dickinson got me through high school. I beat depression and not fitting in with a microphone and denim vest. When I hit the homecoming concert with Broken followed by Tattooed Millionaire with my band called Death Mobile, we were given a standing ovation that would not go away. We went from being the quiet kids in class to having cheer leaders hitting us up to hang out after school. My message is to never give up your dreams.
