My opinion, Microsoft should remove it, they’re releasing things too fast I think without really testing it, and how secure it is.

The great problem here is the lack of competence, that's the reason why Microsoft do whatever crap they want to steal users data and ignores everything they're asked. That's what monopolies do.

As far as I can see Microsoft have become the biggest hackers, stealing data by updateing the recall program to windows 11. If Microsoft don't take notice of what we say they will loose a lots of sales. Personal means personal. I would say if you are about to buy windows. Think very hard about this before buying, my advice would be try another system first. If possible stay away from windows 11 with the recall updates. Microsoft have made it very easy for hackers to take whatever they want from you. Watch this space!!!!

I don't trust Microsoft. It is none of their business what I have been doing or where I have been.

Who at Microsoft thought this would be a great idea and to go through with it with so much negative feedback? Glad we are able to disable it.

Proof = windows 11 = Bloatware. Ms has BULLIED all other OS out of business, or had them shut down with lawyers. So nobody is to compete with windows directly. So nobody keep them more honest = zero innovation from ms Cus have zero competition.

Linux isn’t their yet, maybe one day once Steam os comes out. And ms doesn’t see Mac OS as a threat to windows.

They should have just postponed windows 11 as a whole. Features people use and wanted, removed or not included. Features people don’t want let’s include them. And then make it difficult to use 3rd party apps to change some things back or add the features people want. Microsoft say they are listening to their users. Really cause I can’t see it if they are.

In my opinion software like this should never be baked into iso security risk is to high Microsoft can say as much as they want it can't be hacked but it will.

After seeing this I honestly hope I can still buy hardware without NPUs. so I opt-out of this out of simple lack of hardware for it.Instead of enhancing AI, they're making people hate it with these lame innitiatives.

I'm really disappointed in the way an operating system is being used to control and evaluate our use. Ditch Recall, not needed.

Once thousands of bank accounts have been emptied from hackers having screenshots of your pin/passwords and banks refusing to refund/compensate the stolen money, maybe Microsoft will recall recall.

Thanks, Brent.

It took me years to get used to Windows 95 trying save things on the wrong folders. Who needs "AI" making things worse?

Recall has little upside with tremendous downsides. The optimistic view is that Microsoft is simply deploying what they can that AI can do hoping consumers like it. The pessimistic and most likely alternative theory is that MS is optimizing PCs for massive surveillance while marketing it as just a neat search feature.

Why would anyone want this? It's the complete opposite of what I want my computer to do. It's already extremely easy to save the data you want to save. A PC packed full of all your personal details is a disaster waiting to happen.

While I think Recall is a pointless fad of a feature, it should be noted that if a hacker has the level of access required to read the db as shown, they would already have access to:

Read all stored browser logins and passwords
Hijack active login sessions
Read all browser history and bookmarks
Encrypt all your files as ransomware

If a hacker has that level of access, they may as well skip the recall data and get it directly from the browser

Swear all you like Microsoft no one is believing a word you say about this super risky feature!
