you should take a look at the play list, the order of the videos is kinda funny... 😅
Ответитьhow do I make the sales, please
ОтветитьThanks for making these videos, Jim. My uncle was a clearance diver in the Royal Canadian Navy in the 60’s. When I was young, I’d watch him build ships like this after he retired. I’ve always wanted to give my hand a try.
ОтветитьThere is just something about having a british person explain these things that makes them feel more legit xD
ОтветитьCan you recommend a kit for this kind of wooden sailing ship that costs up to $100.00 that has more detailed, readable instructions?
ОтветитьWhat is the best source for the tools you use? Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing
ОтветитьHi Jim, Thank you for doing this series.
I'm about to embark on the OcCre HMS Beagle and this series has been very inspiring and useful.
Thank you Sir!
ОтветитьI started with the Endeavour longboat. it got me used to bending and handling the strip wood. After 4 builds the biggest problem for me is......Where do you put them?
ОтветитьI tried to use the same type of clip, but gave up because the orange grips constantly fell out. Any suggestions on better types of clips would be great. I build a lot of Occre models, which come with pretty thorough instructions.
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьLooks like the kit I got from China, however, mine came with brass canons, 2 brass anchors and brass chains for the anchors. I will be watching the rest of the build series for this ship. It’s been about 40 years since I built a wooden ship, so I’m a little rusty. I’m at the point of rigging the ship, so I’ll be interested in watching that video. Mine also came with the sail guide to cut the sails. Happy days and model on!
ОтветитьNice!! ...Since the beginning of the pandemic I have been building the ships "The Black Pearl" and "Queen Anne's Revenge" based on plans, scenes and images, although it has been difficult because I cannot dedicate myself full time due to economic circumstances. This art is majestic and I would like to be able to dedicate my full time to it.
ОтветитьHi Jim! Thanks so much for this wonderful series! For beginners like me! I’ve subscribed to your channel. I’m starting my first build soon and have a couple of questions. (1) Can you tell me where you got the hull support block you’re using? The only ones I e seen have c,amps only. I like the large block so I can move it around. (2) What are the Lego pieces for? Thanks again!!
ОтветитьOutstanding video and presentation.
ОтветитьThank you for the video guide(s) on Building a Wooden Model Ship!
ОтветитьAwesome video bro!
ОтветитьAny tips for removing blood stains from wood?
ОтветитьWhere can i buy this kit
ОтветитьThanks mate great intro to model making. I want to start model ship building what kit would you recommend for a beginner?
Ответитьngl, this was so wholesome
ОтветитьCan someone please share a link where i can buy this?
Ответить"Bulldog" clips, not "Alligator"
ОтветитьFascinating. I don't have the patience for that, but I'd love to have a Dutch East India Company ship in my living room, when I'm old :D
ОтветитьIs there a video preceding this one? Thank you.
ОтветитьCan someone link me to that music?
ОтветитьOn too part 2. Looks like a neat kit.
ОтветитьNice intro Jim, looking forward to the build. 👍
ОтветитьJim! Now you got me thinking "wood" haha. See you in Part 2. 👍
ОтветитьHi Jim. Looks like it will be a nice fun build my friend :-) Where in Thailand are you? One of my favourite ports in the Navy was Pattaya. Just for the buzz of the place at night. Take care mate.
ОтветитьThis will be interesting, are the planking strips ply?
