I don't understand one thing about the Indian selectors: why do they drop new players from the team so quickly? Mukesh Kumar was in the last series, and today it's Akashdeep. I mean, in the last five years, the BCCI has made so many debuts that it's overwhelming. The Indian international team is not a job agency where everyone should get a chance!

When new players join the Indian team, they constantly fear being dropped in the next match or series, which prevents them from giving their best performance right away. New players need more confidence from the team compared to the older players. They should be reassured with something like, "Look, we've brought you into the team, so don't worry. You'll get ample opportunities."
