I've heard so much about Helen Shapiro because of my Beatles interest but never really heard her songs until now. Watching this clip, you really understand how much talent she had - such poise and great voice! It really is too bad that she was overshadowed by the Beatles in that winter tour of '63 throughout the UK.

My heart throbs a few decades too late. She’s got to have one of the greatest voices of all time. I may have been born in the wrong decade.

She acted the whole thing out so WELL! No phazed by the iconic status of the beatles. Great voice. She only does the chorus 3 times, so I guess one Beatle had to go...
