im not playin anymore after next phase, this SOD is a bad copy paste from classic.

Your not wrong about the ideal comp being lots of warriors. However, if raids are designed with more anti melee mechanics then it shifts the meta from just stacking warriors. I’m hoping we see bosses/ trash mobs that favor casters more to deter people from just bringing 60% warriors

Could you imagine being a warrior in one of these raids and actually getting loot? LOL. Everyone wants to "stack" groups but no one wants to roll against other people for loot - you can't have it both ways.

keep the 10 man baseline. Its easier to manage and keeps the meta to a minimum

I absolutely hate 40 man raiding. 10-15 good players carrying the rest of the mouth breathers in most cases. If 40 man is the way they leave end game, SoD will end for me at 60

sarthe is projecting lol.. he's a meta slave and cares about speedrunning and he cant fathom that not everyone thinks like him.. my guild in 2019 classic cleared naxx week 1 and we had a prot pally tank, a feral tank, a boomy, feral cat dps, a spriest, and a resto druid in raid.. not everybody cares about this shit but sarthe thinks that everyone has his attitude towards classic

The pushback is going to be gear. How are you going to find a dozen well-geared warriors and why would you want to play one when your odds of getting gear are so low?

10 mans drop 2-3 items, meaning that 40 man raids need to drop 8-12 items per boss. So yea, 40 man raids are ridiculously stupid and a waste of your time, since blizz not only adds gargabe loot (items with far less optimal stats or just garbage stats in general), but not enough drops per boss as well.. which is what makes people join raids in the first place

lemme tell you what i think, it wont be 40man raid, because if it did with these runes we`ll steamroll everything no need to mash warriors or melee ingeneral, but as i said to my friends i HOPE gnomer would be like 15man or 20man..would be really interesting, and i disagree with what the dev was saying "we dont want to change classic to not be classic anymore or the feel of it" but they already did :)

I mean, this is autocope because if you look at logs, locks, ferals, rogues do straight up more single-target damage. If you're really basing this off of BFD logs, if you stacked that many warriors then everyone would get a single cleave and the add would die (or a single dynamite from 40 people), and then the rogue and lock would pull miles ahead of the warrior.

And blizzard will watch this and nerf hunters instead of nerfing warriors.

personally I think the meta concern is being overplayed for views. There are going to be your min/max guilds but there are plenty that go against the grain as well that run a ton of raid parties. Even more guilds will no doubt build just based on that as well.

It's already Season of Warriors, Blizzard lied and they are even more broken than ever before. They already can pull 300DPS or more very easy...

i highly doubt raids will go above 20man, there will most likely be no reason to ever go into the 40mans and if your group chooses to go with how gear and runes are looking you should be able to clear it with 15-20.

this content is just insanely easy, and it’ll be like that for the rest of SoD. shitters are always complaining and making a big issue abt raid comp/meta based off the 99 parsers who want to speed run.

Blizzard isn't that stupid are they? I always played warrior even without raiding at all - but I really hope for a more balanced setup. It shouldn't be so difficult to add a few more Runes and Equipment to balance this out without even balancing any old spell.

Interestingly enough it now becomes more impressive if you do this content without stacking. Maybe blizz makes a mode between SoD and hardcore where stacking isn't allowed. You could even make a tougher version of hardcore by not allowing stacking in that. (Less difficult) SoD, SoD no stack, Hardcore, Hardcore no stack (more difficult).

No point in doing 40 mans just allows more meta slaving and hurts the average joe player cause more shitters to shift through that just want carried

Wouldn’t you probably need shaman in the pump groups for threat reduce totem. That’s always been hordes issue vs salv on pally. Druid for windfury sham for threat reduces for horde

"Meta" is a man-made, social issue. No-one is telling you that you HAVE to play like that. No-one is telling you that every raid needs to be cleared day 1 in a single hour nor do all the tricks need to be figured out before the raid is released. Last time I checked we're still at the 25 level bracket... Let's try to embrace Discovery rather than clinging to meta. I can assure you that the majority of players don't give a single fuck about what classes are "on top" of parses, and furthermore in average raids/guilds a decent player playing something sub-optimal will surely out-damage a worse player playing the "best" class/spec - the actual difference in DPS will never be as big as what you see on the wowhead parse log charts. Not that damage is the only thing that matters anyway...

30 warri who dont get loot

I haven't barely seen this to be honest outside of the small % you have your buffs then most people just fill the only people that care about this is the people that are going in there to parse to be honest majority of the runs i've been on don't really mind to be honest and iv've done about 30+ BFD runs (and 100's of runs in Wotlk)

Yeah warriors dps should be nerfed by half.

No one is making us run a group like this though. Everyone has a choice of how we can play the game and just make sure you join a raid or guild that has more a diversity. It's that simple.

Sod raids so far are very very easy. You can 3man bfd at lvl 25, probly 2man gnome at 40 with bis gear. You should expect to be able to do molten core 5man lol

can we finished the first 2 phases before even expeculatin end game raid? lol like damn enjoy the game yall speed run dungeons and speed run on predicting the future, we still don't know where p3 it's going to leave us at or what game changing runes will be added but we already talking about what will the meta be for end game? 😅

The existence of these videos is what will cause a problem. People don't have this mentality. Otherwise we would see 8war comp in bfd and mage/warlock in gnomer
