Thanks for putting a leftie on video. As a leftie myself it really does help
ОтветитьI watcedh the driver vid as well and both have changed my game for the better. Thanks heaps, Danny!
ОтветитьAll of us subscribers wish you a healthy New Year to you and your family, especially your Dad. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and ability to do many of us would be golfers. We could not keep trying without your competent instruction. Happy 2024…..
ОтветитьSimple fix - his upper body is open and not parallel to his lower body so everything will be a cut
ОтветитьGreat Result - for me two feet together swing and then building a two feet stance and setup up for an easy swing with no power and then adding power to see what goes wrong.
:-o I can now reach the par three green in less than 7 shots ;-))
I divide my membership fee by the shots I take per round and now each shot cost less then a penny, I play twice a week. ;-)) Yorkshire value for money.

Another great video which I found in your catalog of videos for members
Thanks so much for your videos Danny! This was exactly me. Took this out and Hit every fairway today doing this! Went from short and left or right to straight and longer..amazing!!
ОтветитьThis guy is literally my left handed twin. I am hopeful this and his Driver video can help me a lot
ОтветитьStill the best coach on you tube.
ОтветитьWish I'd watched this before I played yesterday! Makes a lot of sense. I'm a lefty who's predominantly right sided & strike is all over the place so really frustrating! 😢
ОтветитьHi, I like your lesson today but I pull to the left or hook on my irons. I don't have a slice. I understand the problems with alignment of the body but to try and picture the correct way to change the angle and club face is what I'm having trouble with. I see that you are not having the feet change but the upper body. I really appreciate your help every week.
ОтветитьBEST!!!!!
ОтветитьI wish We had a golf teacher like Danny in the Gold Coast Australia ! This is literally me but right handed . Was starting to think there was no hope for me ! Trying this at the range 2moro . Cheers Danny
ОтветитьHow would you show this to someone who likes to play with an open stance? Very good video 👌🏻
ОтветитьYour videos of Tom's driver and iron sessions were great. Put me on your list of students if you ever come to the West Coast in the U.S.!
ОтветитьDanny my path is in to out. How does this video translate for me with set up and the steering wheel-thanks Brian
ОтветитьDanny mate, proper star. Where can I sign up for lessons 😬
ОтветитьAbout time that golf teachers started offering the complete (including equipment changes) alternative swing style / system of Bryson DeChambeau. Most normal humans just can’t or have the time to master the traditional lower hand multi plane traditional system. Many older golfers are better off sacrificing some distance for more accuracy to enjoy and compete.
ОтветитьAnother crystal clear lesson Danny. Be well-Russ
ОтветитьGreat lesson Danny pal 🏌️♂️👍
ОтветитьDanny, readjusted as you show in Video excellent results just have to get into this set up as a routine. Still getting sloppy.
ОтветитьWhat device are you using for club patch?
ОтветитьHard to follow, being right handed.
ОтветитьI love the driving the car analogy. Just brilliant!
ОтветитьDanny my driver swing speed is 130 mph what golf ball apart from pro v would you recommend I use ? ?
ОтветитьI love your lessons Danny! A tweek here and there. There is definitely a lot to golf! I'm finding out you really do need your left foot too. ( I rolled my ankle about 3 weeks ago, and actually played with a hiking boot on the left and golf shoe on the right. But had to get back out there. I told the boys, I hope I don't embarrass you all!
ОтветитьHi Danny - love all the content & videos. Looking for any advice - I have just had reverse shoulder replacement in my left shoulder - can you point me in the right direction on any recuperation exercise’s specifically for golf?
ОтветитьWell Crap! Thats why I have been having inconsistencies with my iron. I was to upright on my stance as opposed of dipping my right shoulder same way as my driver. I am consistent with my driver because I am conscience of having my left shoulder higher. Well same with iron. Thank you Danny. Oh one last comment I am 70 years old with handicap index of 7.8. But I am loosing distance. Help!
Ответитьdanny,as a left hander i found this video something i could really relate to as it mimic me to a tee, love the stearing wheel analogy
ОтветитьAs a left handed golfer, this is wonderful to take to the range!
ОтветитьI’m a visual learner, great video. Do you have a right handed student or training that replicates this. I’m having to process this differently since your student is left handed. Amazing results with simple set up changes. Thank you
ОтветитьGreat video Danny,
In a similar position to Tom with my irons aswell, gonna give this a try to see if it helps my game!
Cheers mate
I liked how after all those corrections with hands, feet, targeting, spine angle and swing path. After one swing the teacher asked the student, how does that feel? The student responded "it was a lot smoother"! Which has everything to do with tempo, and nothing to do with anything that was just corrected!
ОтветитьI watched this two days ago and incorporated it into my setup along with slightly closing my stance (pulling the trail foot back a couple inches).
As a right handed player I combined this with;
1) keeping the elbow of my trail arm pinned to my ribs and
2) keeping my left wrist bowed through impact (reverse motorcycle throttle on the left wrist).
FINALLY, I feel like I’m getting rid of that over the top swing path and hitting a few balls that start right and draw back to the target.
Evidence that I'm not the only one with aggressive pit sweat 😅
ОтветитьI love the steering wheel analogy Danny! Looks a lot warmer where you are than home at the moment too!
ОтветитьFantastic lesson Danny, many thanks, your description with the steering wheel makes it so much easier to grasp
Ответитьturn the wheel and lets hit some draws
ОтветитьPlease do more videos like this. Being a lefty this video of a live lesson with a left handed player helps me relate so much better. Lefty live lessons. Big W for us out here! Will try this very soon
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this video Danny as I’m also a leftie! Would love to see you do another lesson with this person using the driver. 👍
ОтветитьIve said it before, Mate - you are an expert! It is a joy to watch you help us solve these golf issues. Brilliant! Thank you, Danny 🎉
ОтветитьI have learned at least 147 ways to hit a golf ball and none of them hit a golf ball constantly well. That aside, I am a senior golfer aged 77 with a lot less flexibility than when I was young. My shorter backswing prompts me to swing too hard at times in an effort to get some distance back. What kind of advice do you have for this old guy to become more consistent in distance without so much effort.
ОтветитьDanny, I just happened to watch this video THIS morning before playing a round of golf. I also struggle hitting over the top which tends to result in pulls to the left and weak shots to the right. I made it a point to make sure that my upper body was in alignment with my feet. I just shot the best round of my life by 7 shots! My iron shots were so much straighter. You're teaching style is so relatable and you do a great job explaining things in terms that we can all understand. Thanks again!
ОтветитьHas Tom got a weak left hand grip? He hits a good ball. What HI please?
ОтветитьWhat a brilliant analysis and fix !
ОтветитьOnly 7 more rounds this winter then of to Spain for January untill March and no golf. Next year looking for a new course, which suits my lack of yards. Will follow you through the winter and hope to show an improvement next spring❤
ОтветитьDanny: Would you go over the "sequence" of the golf swing in one of your videos. Enjoy very much your teaching.
ОтветитьOutstanding lesson . Just brilliant in its simplicity. Thanks again Danny.
