I love this, have an eight year old who is recovered fully from jaw cancer(part of jaw removed) and a ten week puppy who has has soft stool for two weeks, can’t seem to find a kibble that agrees with him. Has just tried one expensive brand open home I think it’s called and before that he was on Purina puppy food. They are both labs. My question is do we need to add taurine and what benefit does beef liver provide. Thank you!!

I was using Farmers Dog for awhile but there were too many carrots in the mix and my two dogs (out of four) wouldn't eat them.

Where can I buy salmon oil?

Sunflower oil? Wtf?! 🤢😷🤮 Almost all commercial grade crap kibble and wet food you get in a grocery store has that nasty oil in it.

Can you buy the nutrition mix by itself?

Huge percentage of carb in the form of grain and veg so not species appropriate. Don't get me wrong, this recipe is way better than any kibble for many reason but if you are going to bother to home cook for your carnivore they bother to get the meat percentage up and take out most of that carb.

Can we use lamb instead of beef? Can we also add rice to this as I want some grains in their diet.

I was at the feed store today and even the most expensive dog foods had garbage/poison ingredients😬😢 ... I love that you give us a recipe for a healthy dog food alternative, however if seed oils are bad for humans I'm sure they're bad for our four-legged friends too? maybe I could substitute the sunflower oil for avocado oil?

Its literally processed food that is less processed than other brands... every food you eat has been processes in one way or another. Chopped spiniach has been processed fruit has been processed.

How long can you store this?

This food looks great my only thing is with the plastic packaging...is that plastic free of BPA phalates and is it plant based packaging ¿

Why did you cook the ground beef ?
