I am a convert to Islam in 2019. I think Islam is a very logical religion and one that can be proven scientifically. I started studying Islam when all the churches taught me to hate Islam. I began to hate Islam. Then one day I asked "Why do I hate Islam that I never knew" you know 95% of the Filipino population is Catholic. All this time I knew Islam from the Church. And the Church teaches "Islam is very evil" Then, I thought Islam was cruel, but I wondered why Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei lived in harmony. Even though they were the majority of Islam that I knew was cruel at that time. Then I learned Islam from google. I bought the Quran for the first time in 2017. It amazed me so much. Islam is not, as the Church says, even very contrary to what the Church says. I came to Indonesia, they are very friendly and helpful. I tried some experiments, I came to church in Indonesia. They rejected me, arguing that I would do something that would pollute the church. Even though I only asked to hitchhike to stay. Then I tried to pluck up the courage to go to the mosque and asked "can I stay overnight" and they allowed me to stay overnight even though I had said I was a Catholic from the Philippines. They said "no problem, the mosque is a place for everyone to worship and Be grateful for God's favor, maybe this mosque will be your place to give thanks for God's gift"Although I was afraid, because in my mind Islam was still a cruel religion. The fact that even I was allowed to sleep in the room where they were Azan and it was very private. There I slept with 2 mosque youths. They were very kind to me. After that, I went back to my hotel in the morning. I picked up my Quran and asked Indonesian Muslims. They explained to me what was written in the Quran. I learned to read the Quran in Indonesia. Then I also came to Malaysia and Brunei I got good treatment from Malaysian and Bruneian Muslims. I have decided, Islam is not what the Church says. In 2019 I converted to Islam in one of the mosques in the Philippines precisely in Mindanao. There are many Muslims, They call me brother even though They don't know me. I was taught to do Salah And I felt at peace. I felt that I had not left my former religion, in Islam Jesus was very much loved. So I am still a devout follower of Jesus and worship the God whom Jesus worships. It makes a lot of sense. Because in the Bible, Jesus worships one God. And I now worship the God whom Jesus worshiped. That means I'm a devout follower of Jesus. Islam is the beauty of my life. I felt that my shortcomings were filled by the existence of And I felt at peace. I felt that I had not left my former religion, in Islam Jesus was very much loved. So I am still a devout follower of Jesus and worship the God whom Jesus worships. It makes a lot of sense. Because in the Bible, Jesus worships one God.
