Residents pick up the pieces after twister blows through eastern Ohio

Residents and weather officials could be seen in Irondale surveying the damage from Wednesday morning’s tornado.
“This was a tornado,” Fred McMullen, with the Pittsburgh office of the National Weather Service, said. “We're out here to determine how long it was, how wide it was and what the max average wind speeds were for this tornado."
The damage caused residents to be blocked in, with many road closures on Ohio 213, CR 50 and 55 and TR 306.
As people begin the clean-up process, some reflected on what they witnessed overnight.
"All of the sudden, it was a big crash,” Nick Christian said. “I got up and it was just water pouring everywhere, just like a fountain coming in from the kitchen. Then the kitchen cabinet fell in. It was terrible."
