ОтветитьThe Soul Train line was my favorite part of the show.
ОтветитьInteresting to note on this one is that both Jody Watley and Jeffrey Daniel from Shalamar were originally Soul Train dancers. Don Cornelius had a hand in forming the group Shalamar
ОтветитьI didn't know Obama was on Soul Train.
ОтветитьThat z because the new generation of young people are of ebt card k, single mom card k raised and they haven't been taught about the past and they don't know and don't care about soul music
Ответить✊🏾💥💥💥I LOVE MY PEOPLE 👑💯💪🏾
ОтветитьNothing else like Soul Train. Black young men and women enjoying themselves in their own environment without the racial encumbrances of white people. Thank you Don Cornelius.
ОтветитьThem dudes with tight pants ain’t new. History repeats itself in fashion and hairstyles 🤯

ОтветитьI’m a 73 yr old white woman, I remember making sure to get my errands done early on Saturdays so I could watch Soul Train. My daughter and I would try to dance like the dancers on the show. Kids today have no idea what they missed, Soul Train was one of the best shows on tv ever. I loved the show. Thank you Don Cornelius! Rip

ОтветитьFreedom of expression, that’s what it looks like. Loved it. 😍🥰😘
ОтветитьLove the comments from the generation Alpha/Z youngsters about early 80s music magic, its like they see daylight and breath fresh air for the first time in their lives. Back in the day this golden music era was my entertainment, my leisure time, my everything 😊
ОтветитьGo white girl! Go white girl! Go white girl! Sorry, Charlie’s Angels flashback!
ОтветитьThis song Remind of Nigeria national arts theatre of the 80s
ОтветитьWow not a single obese person
ОтветитьI remember seeing this show, I miss these days so much
ОтветитьThe early ‘80s was something else. Shalimar were just 1 of many great funk groups who embraced the new electronic synth music tech and it worked it so beautifully with their gorgeous voices… This was just before Electro-funk changed everything.
ОтветитьWhat is happening to music is sad.
ОтветитьFree Style eh' ..!
