I totally admire Tia, she is a true hero. So what I'm about to say does NOT apply to her. But I wish people would stop using the word "euthanasia." The real meaning of "euthanasia" is "killing a terminally ill Individual to end unbearable pain." NOT killing for space or behavior problems. The word has been co-opted to ease the pain of those who kill animals, not the pain of the animals themselves. I totally understand this and feel a lot of sympathy for those people. But perhaps it would be better to just feel the pain, as the animals surely must. This could lead to trying harder and possibly finding creative solutions for change, rather than doing mental gymnastics to try to feel better about the (very tragic) status quo.

She was lonely and depressed from hiding out from COVID the last few years.I wish I could do the same work you do ever,y day but sadly I’m 76 and not in shape to do what you do.

That's not a husky. The nose is too long and slim, pointed downwards. Looks much more like the Siberian Laika.

A beautiful hybrid. Although somewhat small for this breed. A friend had a huskie/wolf hybrid who weighed 185 lbs. He could stand on my 6'2" husband with his paws on either side of his shoulders & look him in the eye. He was so cool. People were intimidated by him because of this. He never understood the reaction he evoked. He couldn't bark, he talked. People would jump back when he did, thinking he was getting aggresive. Poor dog. RIP Thor. I will always love you my boy!

What it takes is someone who understands Wolf-dogs. They are very different from other 🐕 breeds. They behave and respond differently, and not everyone can deal with them. I have been owned by 2. I currently have 2 Catahoulas that are part Red Wolf.
I had a stray Wolf-dog walk into my life. He jumped out of the back of a pickup truck on the freeway in Milwaukee. A vet tested to see how much Wolf he had- 90% Wolf, 5% Shepard and 5% Coyote. We kept him mostly out if site till we moved to a farm in upper WI so he had room to run. Shaitan was like no other 4 legged I have ever known. I don't know how I could do it cuz I don't drive, but Gunner speaks to me. He also looks like a smaller version of Shaitan. If you need a home 🏘️ fir him, please consider me.

Love this. We rescued an 18 year old cat from the shelter. Even though she only lived 4 months with us, we did everything possible to make her life amazing. People who just dumb their docs, are the worst. 😊

With all the experience tia has ,no wonder !this is a woman who can tell other people how to deal with a dog who has behavioral issues!!

I got my lab as a rescue in 2019. She charged the gate of her "cell' barking and spitting. I walked away and came back around, same response. 3rd time she just sat down at the gate and I took her for a walk. I dont think her prior owners were too nice to her, and she was very scared and muley as a result. She is a lovely and happy girl now and I am glad I took the chance on her.
