I'm 30 year old and on 14 January i found out about my annular tear and disc herniation since then I'm on complete rest and tense therapy. My severe pain has gone, I get little pain and numbness in my left hand index finger. I want to know when can I go to normal life or when can I do normal life activities like domestic work and yoga exercise.

My only symptom was weakness in middle back when standing or walking for more than 1 hr. I asked docs many a times and they said forget it. My back muscles are very strong. At 42, I can do over 200 pull ups even with added weight. X rays only showed mild dextroscoliosis and also hyperkyphosis (57 degree angle)

MRI showed normal cervical and lumbar and (1) small paracentral protrusion t6-7, (2) small disc bulge at t7-8 and t8-9 with posterior annular small fissure. No spinal cord or formanial stenosis. (3) chronic small schmorl bodies on both sides of t6-7 to t8-9 and (4) mild disc dessication from t6-7 to t8-9 . Total 3 discs affected. Also my dextroscoliosis curvature is exactly at these levels- t5 to t9

Now 99% docs are spinning their head t6-7 to t8-9 are usually highly unlikely places for this to happen. Cervical and lumbar are perfect. The bulges are very minor but are causing intermittent mid back pain (example when carrying a bag pack over shoulders).no pain on sleep/rest

Any spinal surgeon has suggestions? Here in New york 2 surgeons dismissed me saying it's "age related wear and tear". I'm only 42
