New Vegas 2, When?

New Vegas has such a STUPID amount of replay value it's insane. Such simple yet effective tricks were used in the quests that always made it seem like what you did had a serious impact on the wasteland. Not to mention the writing. My lord it is up there with the original Fallout games. Legate Lanius is easily in my top 3 Fallout final bosses with Horrigan and The Master.

And thank GOODNESS for the modding community to take an awesome game and sprinkle it with new features over the years. Truly one of the best games of all time!

The story of Obsidian in a nutshell is basically them lining up all this great stuff and then rolling a natural 1 at the worst possible time. They really are the unluckiest company.

Imagine if these guys worked on Skyrim. The story would be so much better than the shitshow (which was stoll enjoyable) that we got.

You guys really did knock it out of the park with new Vegas, dead money was an AMAZING dlc and I seriously hope we get to have something as good or amazing as that in the future, fall out new Vegas 2 or even new Vegas remastered would be a GAME changer and would go down as one of the greatest games AGAIN, come on obsidian take a hint from the sierra madre and BEGIN AGAIN!!!!

I don't remember that Obsidian did Dungeon Siege 3 at all lol. I loved the first one, and when I tried 3 I was confused at why it felt different, I think if it had a different name maybe it would've gone over better.

New Vegas was an absolute miracle of a game. In just 18 months, they managed to create a deep, player-driven RPG with thousands of hours of replayabilty, celebrity voice actors, amazing customization, and an overall purely fun game while fighting against an engine that was deeply flawed from the beginning and cost them what could have been a universally acclaimed release. Here’s to a sequel and/or remake! 👏🏻

100% stormland being cancelled and almost making obsidian go under was don mattricks fuck up. he was the head of Xbox at the time, he tried really hard to push Kinect also making it mandatory when buying an Xbox one at the time. he is the reason Xbox is still trying to recover to this day, a decade later.

I really appreciate how candid this documentary series is -- especially the segment on "Stormlands", considering that Obsidian is now owned by Microsoft. Hopefully that speaks towards an open and sustainable relationship between the two companies going forward...

New Vegas is still going because unlike some " Developers" YOU ACTUALLY PUT EFFORT INTO IT. And yes, i will rip Todd Howard and Bethesda a new one whenever i can. They have WASTED THE FALLOUT IP.

Today you can play New Vegas with zero bugs and a lot of improvements thanks to the community of modders. Great game.

I am starting to hate that this is beginning with an episodic structure. Its my AD(H)D talking, but I really could just sit here for the entire story - and oh how I want more details - that MS story before the crowd funding has many tales to be told that likely never will.

New Vegas is a complete master piece even with the bugs. The game is amazing and I’m playing it right now. Its my favorite game all time.

Holy crap, I honestly did not expect you guys to talk about Stormlands and how that went down with Microsoft. It's also interesting to hear directly from a developer just how disliked and screwed vision-wise Microsoft was with Kinect and 'all-in-one entertainment' design for the Xbox One, which confirms the internet firestorm that occurred in that era. At least Microsoft has done a fantastic job with Game Pass and overall value/3rd party support since.

On top of FNV and Stick of Truth, you guys have my deepest respect for being this candid. At the same time, I hope you vetted this honesty with some Microsoft contacts and higher-ups first!

I'm REALLY looking forward to TOW 2 after these fantastic insight videos.
