In this episode of Retro Renew, I'll be giving you a sneak peak at an amazing BlueRetro adapter designed specifically for the Nintendo Gamecube. This kit was co-developed by LaserBear Industries and the creator of Blue Retro, DarthCouud64. Together, they made a beautifully integrated kit that seamlessly installs into the Gamecube resulting in a very stealth mod. In addition to being able to use nearly any bluetooth controller with the Gamecube, such as a PS4 or PS5 controller, both LaserBear and DarthCoud integrated many other incredible features that brings some awesome modern functionality to the Gamecube!

Weird question, but will this work for the rvl-001 Wii console? I can't figure out the info myself otherwise I wouldn't ask.

A gamecube with an SD reader, swiss, hdmi output and bluetooth... man that'd be an awesome way to bring my gamecube back to the first line! But I lack both the money and skills to install most of those mods; this one though is super easy to install

I cant believe more folks aren't talking about one of THE biggest pros to the BlueRetro GC adapters... Guys, this thing pairs with Bluetooth keyboards and works FLAWLESSLY with Phantasy Star Online!!!! No more need to buy that chonky $300 Ascii keyboard controller!!!!

I'm really skeptical. If there's one thing that's a deal-breaker for controller connectivity or response, it's analog stick drift. If you were to use this with a Power A Wireless GameCube-Style controller for the Switch, would the sticks have drift, like using them on the Switch, or would it be driftless? Can you please test that, for me?

I just got my Blueretro GameCube back from the shop that installed it for me. However, now it turns ON automatically and impossible to turn off. The power button does not do anything. IS this normal? Is it instaled wrong? Must I turn on and off with a key combination only and the power button is not suposed to work any more? Using 8bitdo SN30Pro+ btw

Hello! What about BT delay? It will be amazing to see 2.4 Ghz controller connecting possible. I understand that each controller uses own standarts and I thnk it's OK to buy specified PCB. Are there any issues with copyright?

Yeah none of this works fits when using LaserBear’s Pico Mount. Cable’s too long with the harness, too short without it.
I’m done modding. I’m done with the GameCube. I’m done buying things from the community. It’s all junk.
You should do a video to show a blue retro internal install. Maybe a SNES. No real videos out there about it.
I am excited for the dreamcast version from laserbear
