Public healthcare is useless, just look at how useless public schools are compared to private. Healthcare is a good, not a privilege. You get what you earn, as it should be.

Everything is summed up at 7 min. Hospitals competing against each other. I have spent 13 years in Healthcare and im sick of it. Many in this Country do not want to do anything for themselves and the amount of money that it costs to be a patient is a joke. Before Covid I always felt pretty secure with employment but now I see all of us are about to be crushed.

MSOs are now also purchasing private practice physician groups. Profit once again is “ encouraged “. Leading to perhaps providers being expected to offer more surgeries, tests etc.

Hospitals or medical centers should not be in the profit business they should be taking care of the patients needs above their own back pockets I'm not saying they should make shouldn't make money but it's not big four Major Prophets meaning that Community Hospitals that are for the poor who are on Medicare Medicaid or have no insurance should not be left out they should be reassured by insurance like a homeowner has to have insurance car has have insurance etc maybe on these hospitals that treat the poor versus the hospitals that treat the rich maybe the executive should come down from the rich hospital to the poor people hospital and figure out where they could do better maybe invest in those hospitals to make them better I'm sorry a city like Portland Maine should not have the choice between two hospitals Maine Medical Center or Mercy it should be more to choose from

We need single payer so badly. So so badly. I just priced a plan for myself...a 55 yo male. Over $400 a month WITH subsidies. It's ridiculous. Who the hell can afford it?

The American medical system has been an excruciating traumatic experience all my life and I am writing about it. It Doesn't Pay to be the Zebra,- You'll Slip Through the Cracks. I want to donate my body to show how much long-suffering torture my medical caused since saving my life at 7

My sister died homeless and alone May 13th from cancer in a "non-profit" place, and it eats me up constantly. No one gives a fuck about the poor. Not even their "family."

From the emergency room (dungeon) to exfil, I can clearly see that it's all about bodies in the bed and profit over health care.
Disturbing, 16 days in hospital with my annual pneumonia, I received a bonus 'hospital acquired mrse pneumonia' 3 days in they asked if I was ready to go home.....
Then they tried to place me in a specialized nursing facility that had no isolation rooms available, in other words I become a bio weapon of sorts...... I refused entry and went back to the hospital in the dungeon once again. Now I'm home administering my own IV antibiotics for 14 more days of which I have 7 days remaining. These doctors lie all the time and insult my intelligence. It's been a nightmare. But I know that I made the right decision to go home. And the cdc panel operates criminally...really minimal oversight. Shame hospitals/medical care should never be for profit.

It is absolutely discussing how patients were made to die alone and family barred from being by their sides. Wacking patients on respirators, particularly against the wishes of patients and family is not just bad medicine it is criminal. The whole ethos of "do no harm" has vanished.

You issue is 3rd party insurance, the medical center should get that not a 3rd party as years ago people paid directly for care insurance didnt exist it is insurance killing home owners, car owners and people caring for health get rid of it and have people buy it directly to care and everyone wins.
