Knew two ginger cats, both had some weird personalities. One would eat ants and once sat in the same spot for 5 minutes until I helped him out because he got a piece of plastic stuck to his paw.

I've had my ginger cat Marcus for two years and he's very friendly. To illustrate, when I call him he will come running over and high five me with his head. He also is notorious for stealing food from our other cats dishes before they're done. What a character! 😺

we had 10yrs ago (He was 16yrs old Lucky), mixed whit Persian cat (long hair, flat nose).

I love my Ginger cat he died of cancer at 3 years of age. My daughter has my other Ginger white cat he is allergic to chicken and can't eat canned food either

We currently have two gingers in our yard. Ron (papa cat) has made my son his slave and often sleeps on his bed. His son, Donald is better behaved and lives in the yard and sleeps on trees. Both are adorable!!

Milo didn't look like an orange tabby to me. But another famous one is Puss In Boots from The Shrek and Puss In Boots franchises.
Orange tabbies is my favorite type of cat (can't say breed as they're technically a breed) and would like to have one.

all cats are wonderful . but the friendliest and the most lovingest cats Ive had are Gingers. long and short hairs. They really should be a breed no matter what the cat associations say.

I just lost my ginger longhaired mainecoon yesterday. He had no eyes and was the sweetest cat i've ever met. I never realized how calming and grounding his energy was until he was gone. I'm so devastated and miss him already so much. He was such a sweet boy and incredibly agile for being blind. I have a black and white cat that I rescued along with him and they were my Sun and Moon. Now I am forever missing my Sun😭😿
I hope one day I can have another ginger cat. But I'm happy he is no longer in pain and hopefully now, he can see again! I am rejoicing for him.🧡

Ok I’ve never been a cat person. We adopted Tito at 8 weeks old, a month ago as a birthday gift for my daughter. This dude is a trip, he has turned this house upside down and brought new life. I never thought I could be a cat person but Tito is not a cat he’s my guy.🤷🏾‍♂️

Yes I have two ginger cats, but I think what you tell is mostly bullshit. Yes my first ginger cat is very loving, He loves to fall a sleep in my arm, with his head of my breast... and the top of his head touching my cheeks. So far so good.

But than my other ginger/ and white cat. He came to my house hating my other 4 cats... and hating me too! Hissing all the time.
He did only like my house (that was not very different from his house) and the dry food I had for my cats.

And when his owners noticed that their cat did not come home one night... they demanded that I would bring their cat home the next time. But most of the time I did not even know that this cat came in... and hided on the attick, or my small bicycle space.

And so , short after midnight I found hm in my bicycle space... I tried to lift it, to bring it back to their owners.
Well he bite me, and now 4 of 5 years later, one of my fingers did never recover.

But ofcourse, i brought back their cat, but also wanted them tot see, what it costed me, blood gutting out of my finger.
And when I knocked on their door... they went crazy, and calling the police.

Fuck them, but still I gave them an extra chance, because I would go on an Holliday for about 12 days.
That should for them be the perfect time to keep their cat in their house. The did not!

After 12 days, I came back... and did wat I always do with my cats... take a walk aroud the block. Cats love that (als long as there in not to much traffic or strangers in the way. Usually it tot 5 till 10 minutes... to walk with me... knowing (or thinking) they are safe with me.

After a minute with my cats, the Red (uppon) and white cat (under) saw me. And what happened than supprised me.
Like in an Romantic movie, he saw me, and ran te me (and the other cats) . Suddenly he was so happy to see me, and walked the entire way around the block.

That was when I knew he chose me and my house. Of course he still hated my cats. But I protected him nevertheless.
Always putting my body between him and my other cats.

And now, yes he trusts me 100 %. Who could thought that? I sure did not.
Still this red/ white cat was an a-typical red cat.

OMG Ginger cats are really so special. I have had 2 in my life, and they have always amazed me with their loving and special personality. I truly believe they are like little humans. When my children were young, out tabby would go everywhere with the kids. Having other cats who were not gingers and realised how different Gingers were.

We live with four cats, three of whom are boys. The ginger girl is the only one who loves to sleep on my lap. She's the unbridled playtime princess, running and chasing toys like there's no tomorrow – just adorable.

Orange cats often turn up in movies, TV shows and commercials because they have a very calm temperament and can handle the chaos of a set without freaking out.

My ginger tabby is my heart and my life, he is so gentle and adorable but stands up to a good fight if any other cat comes into his territory. He snuggles up with me at night and LOVES CAT JELLY!!! Oh my word, I can get him to do anything if I just wave that Jelly packet in front of him! 😃 He was found on a rubbish dump almost dying ... but my son and the rescue organization he volunteers for, rescued him.
