Just a small news flash when Baldurs gate 3 won so many awards it got news flashed everywhere here in Belgium. So much so that now Flanders has started to invest in videogames wish i thought would never happen in collaboration with the number 1 game design school in Europe 'Howest'.

Super happy that this team not only dropped one of the all time best RPG's but also woke up our politicians in investing more into videogames and the creative medium as a whole! Thanks Sven and Larian.

nah witcher 4 reveal was pretty meh.... ciri looks terrible and the trailer was trudging on old themes like monsters are sometimes poeple.... i was hoping for more new ciri centric stuff like how witcher 1 was telling the story and introducing us to the witcher world and geralt, and withcer 2 was about the world turned its back on the witchers and also on geralt, and wticher 3 was about how an open world witcher would be like with the story revolving around geralt as a father figure... i need to see more of witcher 4 to like or be excited for it.

the dev speech at the end is so full of himself... the only reason i think that baldurs gate 3 was so great is just solely because they had talented and skilled devs on all levels of development..... sadly not all studio have that so they make bad games.

I was really bummed about the industry after E3 died because it was the one time all the big companies came together to get fans hyped and show off the amazing work the devs were doing. This was the first time since the death of E3 that I got that feeling again. Geoff really understands the importance of celebrating this medium.

Personally, very stoked for BLACKFROST: The Long Dark 2. The team at Hinterland have been absolutely tireless in their efforts to keep updating and improving The Long Dark. The community on Reddit and Hinterland forums is super tight and full of wonderful people, and I know a lot of people are really continuously impressed at the way Hinterland are still working on, and keen to improve The Long Dark.

Yes, I get there's backlash for announcing game two before finishing the first one, but honestly, this team puts in so much excellent work that I'm not at all worried about their ability to deliver. It may take some extra time but, in my experience, Hinterland really do deliver.

I had the idea for "Dispatch" like 15 years ago, albeit without the interpersonal storyline. My game's scope was more in line with 9-1-1 or Papers, Please -- i.e., just the job, nothing else.

The product placements for Intergalactic felt very much in line with Akira (which they mentioned as a reference and inspiration). Also, do you know is this sort of revenue help keeps studios alive? I get the annoyance but im willing to be open to it if it help keeps devs their jobs. And I was way more excited by that announcement than you seem to be. The mention of Concord felt like going into twitter to see the trolls complain about DEI. But I guess time will tell which one of us was right. Naughty Dog has delivered some of my favorite games, so I’m hyped for what’s to come.

I used to absolutely live Naughty Dog. Now I'm pessimistic about what they're bringing to the table. All the talent is long gone from the studio and the trailer... Well ill hold off until there's actually game play. But mehh is the best thing I can say.
