Is there a way to get rid of the annoying S sounds?

followed this and learned a bit more on filters and what they do and this is coming form a musician lol the way you explain it is so simple it just clicks... anyway I do have an Issue .. I set up my mixer and everything but when I stream I only get the "game audio" being captured mic doesn't come through the stream at all and you can see it "peaking" so no idea why stream isn't getting it, any suggestions?

edit: even the audio ducking works but no mic sound at all

when i turn the gain up that high even with the compressor it just sounds worse, i have blue yeti and it just sounds like a muffled mess even tho its not peaking its still just not clear at all

This was super insightful. Thank you! I just got a Deity D4 mic and was surprised at how much ambient noise it was picking up for a min shotgun mic, but now with these filters, I'm getting a good result, and I feel like I know how to tune things as I go.

Do you have some tips for music in this mix. some games dont have good soudtrack and when i put spotfy to playn some music some times its louder or too quiet.. or the soud of the game disapear...

not sure if you'll see this comment but i am having problems with having my headphone audio being heard through my microphone, since my headphones are open back, do you by chance have any solution to this?

After months of trying to get my audio better i rewatched this video following the steps one by one, then moving these setting sinto my GoXLR instead of OBS and I appreciate you so much Epos, finally i have audio that I like, especially after lowering the Gain on my SM7B to 52 and then adding back in Post, its so much cleaner sound and less annoying mouth/breathing pickup... literally makes me want to make a new video now for channel. What would you suggest to someone with goxlr, should I use the in-built compressor and all that, or use OBS's?

Has anybody had problems where the sidechain compression is out of sync with the mic that's driving the ducking? I don't have any delays set up, yet when I speak, it takes a bit for the background music to dip down, then after I stop speaking it takes a bit for it to come back. This isn't attack/release settings, it appears to be a bug or something. Any ideas? The sync issue can only be observed when watching the stream or recording. It behaves normally from my perspective when I'm streaming (I hear it dip at the right time in my monitoring headphones) but there's a delay in playback/on the stream.

You can loop a monitoring sequence, for that just do a test recording and use it as a media source on a loop + apply filters to it
