I Found a Way to Spawn INFINITE Megalodons in Sea of Thieves

This works with Dark Brethren too!

My first time I was leaving Shores of Gold with my crew, we met shrouded ghost :D We were going south to Morrows peak outpost. But weirdly for us it spawned in red water. All of us got commendations for that :D

this works with any instance when exiting.

every time ive left gold shores theres been a meg i thought it was common

I remember a few years back me and my friend were so confused when we kept being attacked by the meg everytime we left lol

My theory is more mundane. Encounters can not spawn in specific locations, close to islands, red sea, etc. But they do que up, which explains why you get attacked instantly after you leave the fort, sometimes. And after spending an hour in a location that can not spawn anything on you, the probability of an encounter is increased.

I just cant get myself to do the tall tales.

Best method to spawning megs is to chase a reaper brig while your on a sloop 100% you get multiple in 30mins

I swear megs used to spawn more often which was fun cause they’re easy loot weather your a solo or got crew mates

The megalodon in the shrouded deep adventure is not a fake encounter. It is literaly part of the lore. And you just insulted Merrick GGs.

They should add the flares from the shadow deep as something you can buy to summon a random Meg so farming megloadons won’t take an hour for one

I found out you can also do it with the pirate of the Caribbean the final tall tail it’s basically the same concept but you can just go to the location of the tall tail sit there for about a hour or so and cancel it and instantly a megalodon or sometimes a skeleton ship spawns but all I got was megalodon

Is it necessary to kill the boss always or simply by entering and leaving the island is the Meg generated?

I love hunting megs reminds me of the whale hunting missions from Black Flag.

I think I may have found a faster way Toxie. If you do the checkpoint at the last Pirates Life tall tale (Lords of the Sea: Final Chapter) where you have to match up against Davey Jones, you can cancel out of the quest to spawn an emergent event. It takes like 10 minutes to set up, sail to, and cancel out of the quest.

I saw one once but it was during the worst storm id seen. I got killed by lightning strikes and lost him in the storm :(

I have been playing since day 1 and have 4100 hrs, and have 97% of commendations done for SoT, i have never even seen the Ghost Meg. It's a myth. A ghost.

This has nothing to do with u1 i had a meg spawn on me 90% of the time after finishing shores and i did it serveral times to get the curse first for myself and than for diffrent friends and i left the shores at diffrent spots each time

Well I haven't done any of the main tall tails so I might not do this. I don't like doing tall tails

I've had a meg spawn more than chance seemingly when I've played that shanty.
