Fineturf recently completed a project at Lord's Cricket Ground to maintain a high-quality playing surface. To begin, the team used a Koro machine to remove the top layer of grass and soil from the main square.

Following this, the team carried out graden scarification to remove any dead grass and promote healthy growth. They then used a vacuum to clear away any debris from the surface.

Next, they used a Gandy seeder to sow new grass seed onto the surface, before applying loam using a small Massey Ferguson tractor and a SISIS spreader to ensure the new grass had the nutrients and support required to thrive.

Once the loam was applied, the team dragged a mat over the surface to ensure even distribution. Finally, they applied fertiliser to give the grass the necessary nutrients to grow and maintain its quality playing surface.
