Did you end up installing the ozone?
ОтветитьI have the same chiller but I use the activeaqua 800 pump. I don't get that great of water flow, but that might be because I have some 90 degree turns in my lines. My chiller was working great for about a month and now it stopped cooling the water. Not sure what I should do. Any suggestions?
Ответитьthe chiller says online that it only goes from 68℉-79℉ is this not accurate?
Ответитьthx for the video
ОтветитьIs there a video on how you made the box?
ОтветитьHow well does it sustain the temperature with the insulated stock tank? I live in hot CA and my current set up was running constantly.
ОтветитьIf I wanted to use a 150 gallon tank would I have to get a bigger chiller?
ОтветитьNice clean setup. Was looking for the right plumbing parts for my new chiller. Thanks for saving me a lot of time.
ОтветитьKeep up the good work
ОтветитьAwesome video, thank you, any issues with condensation?
ОтветитьBrother, thank you for this! I ordered everything off your links!
ОтветитьThe link for the bulk head is to 2 Pack 1/2" Female NPT and 3/4" Male GHT is that right?
ОтветитьThanks! Bought the chiller and put the Amazon items in my cart. Before I pull the trigger, would you recommend different bulkhead fittings since they leaked? Would you change anything else?
ОтветитьCouple of questions.
1. Are you having any issues with heat from the chiller in the box with no vents?
2. For the hose going from chiller>tank, was there a reason he has that loop of hose above the chiller? I was told the shorter the hose, the better.
I clicked the link for the chiller that you used. It takes me to Wal-Mart's website and according to the specs, it says the temp range is from 68-78 degrees....so how are you able to get this to chill lower than 68?
ОтветитьHey Daniel, thanks for the video. I just purchased the same tub from tractor supply and am very interested in doing the same thing or similar as you. The only question I have is temps. What is the coldest temperature you've achieved consistently with the chiller you used here?
ОтветитьCan you link exactly what you used please. I ordered everything on your list but the parts are not fitting together. Especially the bulkhead. The 3/4 barb with 3/4 npt attaches to the bulkhead correct?? Mine are not matching and will not thread together and they are 3/4. Also, what size are you using with the pump? 1/2 and 3/4th?. Ive been to the home depot three times trying to match these up. Ive been in the PEX section. Maybe that's where I am going wrong. Thanks for the help
ОтветитьWaiting on an update on this! Would love to see how it's holding up and how to add Ozone.
ОтветитьThe pump you have linked shows a 1/2" outlet on top. How do you get from the 1/2" to the 3/4" piping?
ОтветитьHi Daniel just want to verify that all you use to seal the 3/4' barb to 3/4" NPT fittings into the strainers is teflon tape; no orings there? The fittings on the pump come with them, so just wondering. Thanks
ОтветитьHello Daniel, thanks for a detailed setup video. I want to purchase the chiller you recommend, but noticed in their manual that it chills water from 68℉-79℉, but you seem to have no issues getting it down to 35°F. Are their specs incorrect, or does any other piece of equipment you used helps in getting the temps down to the desired 35°?
Thanks in advance
Thank you so much for this video, I've been asking and looking for someone to explain and provide links! This is perfect!
ОтветитьPretty sure your chiller will overheat (especially in the summer) without proper ventilation and air flow inside that box. I have 2 vents in my enclosure, the air "inlet" uses an HVAC filter and the "outlet" has a fan that runs continuously to pull air through the enclosure. Also, once you add the venturi, you'll probably notice that the 400gph pump is insufficient. I'm using a 900pgh pump and I still wish I'd gone with the 1200gph one. It moves the water, but doesn't "jet" the water by the time it gets back to the tub. Good start though!
ОтветитьThis was a great video! How is the chiller working? I have an 80-100 gallon plunge. not looking for it to get very cold...40-50 would be fine for me. Wondering if the the chiller is sufficient for that?
ОтветитьGreat setup.
ОтветитьHow is it holding up after using it everyday?
ОтветитьHow long does it take it to get down to cold temps? I live in south Florida and this is gonna be outside under an enclosed area.
ОтветитьI'm sure i'm missing it but where does the venturi valve go?
ОтветитьI copied the share link, liked and subbed on all my Chanel’s. Let’s see this explode 99k or Bust
ОтветитьDid you get the shirt while you were acting on 1923?
ОтветитьWhen I showed my husband your channel, he really wanted to know how you made yours. Thank you for this.
ОтветитьThis is so underrated
