How do you deal with claustrophobia... Any solution?

As well in our German home and in our Swedish (very northern in Lappland) we have awesome “holes in the ground”. Wish I could show ya. We are looking for leeches but not cave leeches so far. (Velebit mountain, Croatia are some located). I am still sticking to my 50 cm blood sucking worms than crawling into tree casts 😁🤣

I have long ago understood and accepted that phobias, like claustrophobia, fear of heights, fear of snakes and similar, aren’t necessarily negative (as long as they are not too “strong”).
Instead I see them as evolutionary warning signs that prevents us from being in places we shouldn’t be or doing things that we shouldn’t do/ are dangerous to us.

I would say I'm very Claustrophobic but I think much of that fear is about not being in control. I would go into the tightest most narrow cave in the World If I knew I could end that situation any time I want. I hope that makes sense.
