Busted that test. Undercut on last cap bead .most likely will have slag inclusions and porosity due to not cleaning between passes on the cap. Sounded like you were using DCEP instead of DCEP.

Nasty welds. I have never seen anyone drip out so much fill. Im a machinist and not a welder, but dang Im better then that, and that's no big boast. You overgapped the weld, you overheated the parts and you wasted a heck of alot of time, which would get you fired by the end of the first week. Perhaps you may want to take a class and learn what your doing. Not just wave around the bead like weaving it will magically be better after all your Fing up . If you feel im a bit hostile well, your posting demo vids and you clearly have no real idea what your doing. And a grinder isnt for a finished weld, its for material prep. Not for fixing your crap bead.
