The Silk Route in East Sikkim is a famous trekking trail that passes through the eastern part of Sikkim, a state in northeastern India. The trail is known for its stunning natural beauty, including lush forests, snow-capped mountains, and rolling hills. It is also a popular destination for adventure enthusiasts and those interested in exploring the local culture and history of the region.
It is important to note that trip in the Silk Route of East Sikkim requires a permit and it is advised to hire a local guide or join a trekking group to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
We shot this vlog in the month of January 2023, however, it was our bad luck we didn't find any snow. It was a 3N 4D trip and we stayed in the following homestays:
