ОтветитьMy in-laws told us and others they had a college fund for 18 years… when the big day came to write us checks for our two kids….. drum roll….. $150/kid. $300 total. Grandparents: It’s better to not mention it and surprise your kids and grandkids with a college fund just in case you don’t get around to saving.
ОтветитьGod bless
ОтветитьVery helpful, thank you 🙏🏽
ОтветитьDo you pay anything related to housing and food if you live at home with your parents for free?
ОтветитьHow does FAFSA count money in an irrevocable trust? Our child has money in a trust that they cannot access until they are 25. It was funded by a lawsuit. Can they count money that is inaccessible?
ОтветитьAloha Kate Li!
I'm also from Hawaii. I appreciate your input on leaving the island to grow as a person.
I hope this next adventure will be great at my university next fall :)
Serve in the military for 4 years. College will be paid for, plus you will earn other lifetime benefits. Military service will also open doors socially and in employment.
ОтветитьI am an accounting major, a lot of firms do offer tuition reimbursement and will help you finance a CPA
ОтветитьI started in a fast food sit down restaurant then moved to retail and it was such a great way to get basic people skills and grow! It helped me get a lot of jobs later on and I noticed my friends who didn’t work in college this became harder for them and they didn’t have a sense of workplace urgency when helping people.
ОтветитьMy advice for me is go to the local community college for the first two years and graduate with your two year degree, then transfer in to an affordable university as a junior. Community college is a whole lot less expensive and some states provide tuition free community college for two years. It is a lot cheaper to stay in state as well. If you do go this route, make sure to check with your academic advisor to see if the credits transfer to the target university (university you are transferring to) and count towards your four year degree.
ОтветитьHEY can u let me know the scheduling of college
LIFE/classes
Hello, In California, the only grant a master’s student can receive is the State University Grant. When I apply for Fafsa and it asks me my assets, is there a limit for how many assets I can have to get the state university grant? Meaning, how much would be too much money in my banl account and would prevent me from getting the state university grant?
ОтветитьCOMMENT more videos you want me to make :) thank you for watching, I hope this helps you in your college journey. I'm rooting for youuu!!
