Is it easier to revise one subject finish it and then move onto the next or revise different subjects all at once?

When should I start revising for my GCSE’s ?
I’m in year 10 now

The way I revise is by taking notes and reading the notes. I also take practice tests from previous years. I dont feel like I'm learning anything or getting anything into my brain, I really need help revising. What do I do?!!? Oh- and i have just started year 7 😢🖤

personally my revison plan goes like this:
1. Learn the information/revisit the information and make sure you understand it
2. Turn this information into flashcards with a question on the front and the answers on the back
3. Once you are able to recall each flashcard then test you knowledge by writing everything about the topic onto a mindmap in a certain time limit.
4. Then move onto practice exam questions/papers and treat it like exam conditions. Once you can get good results and answer every single question and recall the information off by heart then you can move onto the next topic and repeat the process.
* These methods helped me get a grade 9 on my computer science exam in year 9 and i am going to use it on all my exams for y11. Trust me it works because i can still recall information from year 9 which i haven't revisted once.

Here is what I did:

Cram the entire topic on one A4
Then fold that A4 and go out and buy a drink
When ever I worry for an exam I just pull out the sheet and revise whilst walking.

Can I pass an exam doing all this but a week before exams

I’ve missed so much of school due to covid 19 and my gcses are still going ahead next year and im only on 3’:s on most subjects and you need a 4 to pass and im getting so stressed that I won’t pass
