Every time I watch a documentary like this, I'm left in awe. The science, the design, the labor to manufacture and produce, and of course, the skill by many men and women to operate it efficiently. It's nothing short of incredible. And then I remember these are killing machines in an arms race to be the best at killing. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad such machines are on my side and not the other. But it still leaves a sickening feeling that so much time, effort, money, and skill is spent killing each other. When I watch something like this, I can only imagine how many lives were simultaneously ruined so that mine could be safer.

The De Havilland Mosquito was made of composite layers of wood. This gave us weight saving and rigidity in one hit but the laminate build was not safe in hot and humid climates. Uhmmm. Regarding the B2's heat signature stealth capabilities, if the IR signature is masked when for ground-based sensors, it is still open for satellite IR-tracking systems... One way or another, the heat will be visible. To call the bathtub completely invisible is just funny propaganda.
