I like this pattern and your video but.... huge issue. I have been trying to figure out what I did wrong as my band ended up upside down. can see on thge vedio where you have sewn the band to the top-both are facing up and both are shown in the same direction of pattern. Which I did. I have watched and rewatched the video several times but cannot see where I went wrong. Now I need to rip out all the seams and try to figure it out. Sad to re-work anything.

Love this but I'm doing something wrong - I've gone back watched the video multiple times and I've tried to make 2 of these with the same problem. When closing the top and top stitching the fabric on one side is about 2" longer so it doesn't close properly?? Should the band be center of the notch? I'm placing it above the notch.

I have enjoying making these towels!! I probably have made over 25!! My towels are a bit, smaller instead of 4 and 4 I've done 4 and 3 which makes out perfect.

It did not come out correctly and I gave it two tries and made adjustments. It still did not work. Hi just a couple of things that I found that made this wonderful pattern jut a little easier. Trim all four corners and pre fold the side seams After turning it right side out everything will lay flat and easy to topstitch.
Also I found that if you use either light or medium weight interfacing on the quilting fabric it makes it more crisp.

Could you please advise were I'm going wrong? despite me having the notch at the top on my directional fabric and placing the towel the right way on the notch my fabric still comes out upside down!! Thank you xx

I love these hanging towels! I'm a very beginner sewer and was able to follow along with no problem. I have made 3 sets for myself and several for family members that want a set after seeing mine. The only thing I do differently is that I add some Pellon to the strap and the fabric hanging part. Otherwise i'm ironing my towels before I hang them in my kitchen...and who has time to iron towels?

As much as I love your video, as a beginner to an intermediate level, I do think I will have to watch slowly bcuz there are quite a few steps and you do go a bit fast☺.
