Pienso que es un efecto psicológico. Los directores de remakes en pelis y juegos, saben que el usuario antiguo ya no se sorprenderá fácilmente porque viene preparado.

Entonces deciden modificar, omitir o simplemente cambiar ciertas escenas, el nivel de impacto jamás será el mismo, por lo que deciden que las escenas de terror serán moderadas.

Gritos mas suaves, situaciones más sobre entendidas, banda sonora callada y aburrida, le pasa lo mismo a las películas de terror en remakes. Es como que se vuelven más rebajadas porque temen sobre actuarlo todo haciendo el ridículo.

Resident Evil 4 2005 is much better than the remakes, the remake is empty without personality, people create a lot of expectations in remakes and they are blind and don't see that it is inferior content to the original

This is probally the best section of commentaries anout games right now man, its good to know that people still care about more creatively and passion more, than just graphics and 60 FPS 4K.

When did the first re4p trailer appear I thought I'd never play the original again. In the trailers, the remake looked cracked! Then I understood: I will forget the old orig. What's the result? Not a well-thought-out gameplay!
All the bosses are not made according to the OG! The design is weak, especially disappointing the Yu-3 Removed the sigment with containers, it was better than the boss fight itself! Well, the yu3 design itself is not terrible :-/ The sound music sucks in og more catchy soundtracks! Luis's failure began to piss me off right after the slaughterhouse because of the stupid artificial intelligence, as a component, it's terrible. At least he helped to fight back. I could say even more criticism of this soulless remake, but I think enough of a FACT is a FACT! And you won't beat me. Original 4 is awesome to this day! It doesn't need any damn remake, and especially what Capcom has provided us. Remake re4 6/10

I think the issue is plugins. Like they used a whole bunch of plugins rhat behaved in unison with other plugins without a touch of direct intent.

Capcom should really stop using the RE Engine for their remakes and bring back the original art style and voice actors. I'm not a fan of Nick Apostolides as Leon.

After 6 month's nobody talking about this remake so called Masterpiece anymore, Crowcat get's attacked for nothing beacuse casual gamer's who got into gaming 8 years ago only care about graphic's and cinematic's and not about the gameplay. These casual gamers don't even know what a masterpiece mean's it mean's it can be played for year's . L4D 2 was released 15 years ago and some people still play that game in multiplayer and the funny thing is at that time L4D 2 Review's it wasn't even called a masterpiece it was like a 9/10 which was Amazing IGN. Yet this 10/ 10 Remake won't be even relevant by the time 2024 comes around same thing with Resident Evil 7 and 8 lame excuse's of Resident Evil game's it was popular in 2017 and 2021 and after that nobody cared and bothered to replay it. Gaming is so freaking lifeless now.

I admire you for exposing modern Capcom laziness , the majority of people are defending them and warming up to their bare-minimum works but i appreciate someone with sense of awareness to notice and call out stuff like this that happen in our industry , bandwagoners have ruined a lot of things for us but i'm glad you spoke your mind .. people need to be harsh on Capcom but these days it seems impossible since Capcom with the growth of social media went mainstream which makes it an impossible task to call them out , the age of consoomers and toxic positivity is a curse that needs to be dealt with in any way at any cost , what happened to RE3 is unforgivable and i wish you made a video for that too

Re4 original has best dialogues cheesy and great enough to roast Salazar In front of ashley and his bodyguards, ruining Osmond ane Making him Salty Enough.
The dialogues were the BEST.
Voice Acting Was Fenomenal voices Were Great and fitting into character.

Part of why I loved the original was the anime-esque, over the top absurdity of everything. All while maintaining the terrifying aura of the world as a whole. Blood and death and corpses surrounding our protagonist at all times, but Leon acting like it's another day on the job. The man is truly fearless at this point.

I see what they were going for in the remake, but the hyper realism doesn't translate very well to what the 2005 version was going for. Narratively, and setting-wise.

It’s clear you love RE4 Original that you did such a great work! Now I appreciate the original even more. Can’t believe how terrible the voice acting it, or how lame some cutscenes are. Like with Krauser-he feels so dangerous and scary but super experienced. In the Remake he sounds like some silly redneck in uniform. The new gen of devs is really lazy to release the game in this shape. Lack of details, bad voice acting, worse cutscenes, no attention to detail, cheaper looking deaths, less Humor… well the original is a masterpiece, and the remake is a streamlined update for gamers who are lazy to learn different controls. Because the tank controls had purpose and the game was designed around it, and created tension. I gave up playing the remake, it just didn’t feel as great as the original.

Yea man I wanted to like the remake but just couldn’t enjoy it like I did the original. I am hoping the VR experience makes me like it more cause I really had a good time on the Oculus version.

I'm convinced the dialogue in the RE4 remake was written by AI if not the entire game.

So old one had more finesse in the cut scenes where the new one had more finesse the gameplay that gameplay in the remake is far better along with the map design and layout but the story in the remake did feel less impactful with certain cutscenes done very differently

Re original sounds are much much better, atmosphere is better, music is better, overall the. remake is very good but its doesn't have the soul of the original.

even though the engine and graphics were shittier, you could tell a ton more work was put into the art and assets of the game. the new one feels like a college student's unreal engine game design project with premade assets.

Wow. Disappointed the remake cut so much from the original. Sound design was better in the original too.

The main difference is the original RE4 felt more like an action game, whereas the remake leaned more into the horror aspect. Can remember playing the 4th one as a 13-14 year old who was afraid of everything and not feeling scared once. Playing the remake at 30, felt so different because i was genuinely scared for large portions of the game. Two great games, but two very different ones at that.

God. Sound/Music design in videogames and media in general has gotten terrible in the last 10 years. Its always empty boring and shallow ambiance with no real music.
