What is the difference between Onsite and offsite SEO. This is a really common question I get whenever I am teaching my digital marketing classes. Onsite SEO is essentially everything you can do on your website to optimize it for search engines. Some of the most common and important things you can do when you are optimizing your website is to include your keywords in your title tag, description tag and H1 tag. It also includes optimizing your images to make sure they load quickly, and making sure to include keywords in your alt-text of your images. On the other hand, Offsite SEO is about getting back links. Back links are other websites that link to your website. You want as many of those as you can possibly get. If you are doing all these things, you are doing SEO right.
