ОтветитьThe best of times, at the Garden watching the B's during those years. Just out of high school, had season tkts with three friends (stadium sect 33). They were priced at $4.25/game! It was the best of times. Wish I could see the special.
ОтветитьLooks good. Hockey was my favorite sport now baseball is. But that team and the town of Wellesley Ma. that I had moved to in the summer of 69 from Fall River Ma. got me so interested in Hockey because of the Bruins and the Youth hockey and JR high and High school hockey in that town. To this day, I'm 62 now, that is still my favorite Boston sports team of all time. Over the 04 Red Sox or any Celtic or Pats teams. And that is saying a lot considering how spoiled we've been this century.
ОтветитьAnd it was unseasonably hot that day for the Boston area, May 10, 1970, the day they won the Cup.Low 90's. They're lucky there was no fog or other problems like against the Oilers in 88, lol. I can remember every team and game they played from Feb.22nd on till the last playoff game. Quiz me real fast, LOL. I promise I won't cheat and will have an answer in 10 to 15 seconds. Not the score just the team and wether it was a win, loss, or tie.
ОтветитьCan't wait..I grew up on Bobby Orr and the Big Bad Bruins.. always my favorite team of all time!
