Is the 2019 Toyota RAV4 Adventure the TOP crossover CHOICE?

Just bought this Rav4 And love it so far!! It’s joining a 4Runner already in the family!! Mine is a Adventure but does not have the moon roof! But it has everything else you’d need! Including heated steering wheel!! Its the 4Runners little brother!! Great automobile

Subaru NO, i only see Tacoma front

That white plastic under front bumper will be a mess after 1 year of driving because of rock and sand will hitting it and scratch up , why white ?

I got this in red. I did not like any other Rav4 2019 but Adventure.

I’ve seen a few of the new Rav 4’s on the road and they remind me of the Highlander. It’s definitely a much better look. Highlander’s have a great look and Toyota got smart by following in its footsteps.

I’d opt for the gas variant,mainly because I’d don’t care for CVT transmissions.I don’t want to knock this thing until I drive it myself.I’ve read all the negative comments already.

They’ll sell plenty of them.If they powered it up correctly(V6),the sales numbers would truly be astronomical.
Hopefully,that will be corrected.

Toyota won't give it's customers a 💯% satisfaction. Ever. I mean look how they ruin the interior. That's on purpose to put its both hands in our pockets every 3~5 Years. Now look at 2019 rav4 ugly front and this Tacoma like front.

I have a 2015 xle. 176 hp. No rear ac like the new models. I wonder in 2021 Toyota may put a v6 in it?
P.S. is there away to keep the backdoor open without running down the battery? I want to hook up one of those SUV tents to it.

Here’s my impression from test driving these: The Trail looks a bit nicer and has more features, but the hybrid has much more acceleration and felt smoother, as well as being quieter

It’s great to see a compact SUV that actually looks like a SUV with the rugged design. I’m so tired of SUVs that look like Car/vans. Would be awesome if someone made a TRD pro look a like grill for the RAV4 Adventure. Something about the grill with big Bold TOYOTA in the front is very nostalgic.

I think the reason why they didn't connect the front wheel arch with the bumper is very simple. two different body parts instead of one. if the bumper is hit the other stays unaffected and vice versa

I'll subscribe if you do a thorough explanation of Paddle Shifters. Their main purpose? Do they have to always be used? Is it a standard feature? Fuel efficiency? Everything, thank you.

Any car or SUV usually boils down to the buyers' expectations. I expected a lot from the 2019 RAV4 and was disappointed in a number of ways, mostly regarding PERFORMANCE, FEATURES and PRICE! A fully loaded Adventure Trim RAV4 has an MSRP in the $39k range and there is no way in "heck" I was pay that much for a SUV with an under-powered 4cyl, cheaply designed interior, with NO LEATHER and nearly EVERY non-Toyota Dealer driving review complains about engine noise! I bought a larger, better designed, Honda AWD Passport with a LEATHER interior and a powerful (smooth and quiet) 6cyl, for $39k... Also look for the Motor Trend small SUV review that ranks this new RAV4 in FOURTH PLACE against its competition...! Of course, I don't mean to denigrate any actual 2019 RAV4 Owners - and for you 2019 RAV4 owners: "denigrate" means "to put down"...

I commented earlier on the other points earlier. I'm glad it has decent HP, with no turbo and a conventional auto transmission instead of a CVT. But the biggest gripe is the lack of Android Auto.

I will have to scratch Subarus from my list, despite how much I liked them, due to too much potential problems with the CVT, engine head gaskets, and now valve springs that add to the potential head gasket failure, plus other reported problems.

The Chevy Blazer RS is so nice, too, but so expensive, with all the potential, and highly likely problems of the new GM vehicles. Plus high registration and insurance cost for size and weight.

I will probably opt for the more practical and affordable HRV Sport FWD over the Honda Civic Sport Sedan due to it's cargo capacity that I will need for various things. And maybe try to get the Rav4 TRD down the road when it is available.

Got a 2019 RAV 4 Limited with Panoramic sunroof ;) in blizzard pearl yesterday...I am so so happy right now. Don’t even waste time on the Honda CR-V...please, it’s just another ugly car. 2019 RAV 4 is in fact a very hot, handsome, sporty, and smart car in my opinion.
