Totally agree, crazy to offer a very limited plan & a unlimited plan at the same price! Sounds like T mobiles overall network is poor & therefore shouldn’t be offering it at all until their infrastructure can handle the load.
ОтветитьI dont want anything 5G-related in my house. I don’t even use 5G on my cell phones. That sh*T is evil!
ОтветитьThanks. Good to know. How about a review on Verizon internet? My internet keeps fluctuating and I need something better and worth the money.
ОтветитьThanks Michael. I live within the city limits of Pittsburgh, just ran my address on the site and it says I'm available for the unlimited. To be honest, I'd love to cut ties with Xfinity Internet. It's not that great and cost me 80 dollars a month. But I've heard a lot of people complain T-Mobile starts out good and goes downhill within a few months. Just wondering about the long term.. 🤔
ОтветитьWe use T-Mo 5G Home Internet as a backup for our FIOS. We need internet for full time WFH jobs.
T-Mo 5G Home Internet is amazing in our area. Solid 200 to 300 mbps all the time.
This would not work me being I stream my TV Hulu with spectrum internet until these plans get better ill stay with spectrum which my internet service is not bad b price I pay 54.99 a month iam sure all these post paid carriers going come out with home internet but until they come out with true unlimited with no cap or slow down I don't think its would not be worth it
ОтветитьThe poor neighborhood special. How demeaning
ОтветитьWhat a rip off.... I have att fixed wireless, 500GB for $69 per month.
ОтветитьI have T-mobile home internet and it's working amazing. But if I was one of those customers who had to choose T-mobile light I wouldn't. Especially T-mobile charging the same price as those customers that have unlimited data .I still feels that this is T-mobile finding ways to don't give unlimited internet service to certain areas. Why would T-mobile charge customers the same price as the customers with unlimited data? It should be less . It's a lot of options now when it comes to home internet. Customers will always do what's best. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьI would not use T-Mobile or At&T because it's for lay people.
ОтветитьI've had 3 MB/s DSL from AT&T for over a decade and the only other options seem to be satellite internet. Would this be a good alternative?
ОтветитьI tried it when i first heard about it, i fact i tried one with no success, then i tried another one, still no success, i even went to T-Mobile tech support and was on the phone line for about two hours with them trying to get the ting to work. The device is made in Viet Nam.
ОтветитьIs optimum good?
ОтветитьSigh. I just want internet that has a decent data cap that's not almost $200 a month. Our county keeps giving people that already have Fiber and Cable more internet options and screwing those of us without. 😑
ОтветитьStill not great..
ОтветитьT mobile sucks. Don't get it. I got T mobile 5G internet months ago, and at first, it was great. Then, I think they got too many customers, and internet drops out after around 8 minutes. I need more than 8 minutes of internet. Have to power off & restart to reconnect. Was great, but now sucks. Cancelling my 5G T mobile internet line.
ОтветитьOdd T-Mobile doesn’t offer home internet at my place but my phone gets 5g around 65mbps but verzion dose I get over 300 mbps T-Mobile has fucked up
ОтветитьThey f*ed me dry with they're shitty internet, will keep dropping service, its laggy, then if your internet quits you have to cancel or they add an extra gfys in there then charge your card a couple times a month to make sure they get the money
ОтветитьI got the $50 unlimited 5G Gateway it's totally amazing it said it wasn't available in my area because some areas are bought out by AT&T or other better companies so what I did was I entered a different address and took the home the internet to my house where it said that it wasn't going to work and it works badass 5g all the way have multiple devices running and its fast with no interuptions reason why it wasn't available is because Spectrum bought out the Zone where I was at some zones and places make contracts with Broadband companies so that you can only get them I went to T-Mobile AT&T and other companies and they all said that no only Spectrum was the one that was available so I just used a different address took my T-Mobile internet home and it works like a champ
ОтветитьAT&T wants 100$ upfront since I’m 19 and don’t have a credit score. Had to stop using cox due to getting random charges. Can’t even find the option for internet lite even tho this house doesn’t quilt you for unlimited Struggling so hard.
ОтветитьI cut my ties with Suddenlink here ii east Texas, and now get 51 channels,I also have t mobile gateway, what is best way to conserve data as I have the 100 gig plan, can't get unlimited?.
ОтветитьKeyword "LITE"
ОтветитьLies and deception
ОтветитьThis is bad news.
ОтветитьYeah if my area had real internet access, I would not need to use Internet Lite. But sadly it’s all that is available at this time. It’s expensive because I need the 300gb per month and it costs 175. But the the only other option is cable and that’s well over 200 bucks….they have you cornered like a mouse.
ОтветитьThanks for having such an informative video in such a short runtime.
ОтветитьThe only downside to t mobile lite is the data cap if you go over it your service slows down I don’t like it
ОтветитьThanks for this. I just went to check out T-Mobile Lite, and I could not make sense out of it. This helped so much.
ОтветитьOnline says my location only has Lite but the t-mobile Business rep (to whom I was transferred inexplicably) and area coverage map zoomed all the way says my address should get Ultimate. After going nowhere with the non-Business rep ("I can only offer what the online form tells me for your address.") I proceeded with 100 GB Lite for now but indicated that I'll be dropping service in a few months if I don't get Ultimate. Won't let them weasel out. What else can one do when the alternatives are overpriced fiber or crappy DSL, both with absurd "installation by our skilled rep" one-time cost BS for 5 mins to flip a switch?!
ОтветитьMine dropped out a lot.
ОтветитьI'm glad I didn't get Tmobile home lite
ОтветитьThe lite is trash 100 gb eats up in 3 days streaming movies.
ОтветитьI've had T-Mobile home internet for almost 3 years. I'm exactly 2 miles from the T-Mobile tower on the Interstate with mixed woods and open fields in between. T-Mobile coverage map shows I should get 5G. I can attest to the fact the when it works, it works well enough for my purposes: GF works from home, watching streaming services, and internet all for which I pay $50/month.
Having said that, T-Mobile just can't seem to get their network/ tower/ gateway unit shit together. I have replaced over a dozen gateway units that suddenly decided they didn't want to connect, stay connected, or if connected would show "connected, no internet". Another issue is certain websites won't connect and load, the browser address bar will display a small "i" inside a circle even though upload and download speeds are good. T-Mobile's solution is to first reboot the gateway before calling for help; it is a commonly performed routine here at the house. Most times that will get things going, but when that fails, well I'm going to have at least an hour or two sucked out of my day. I've even spent 5 hours on Saturdays or Sundays trying to get T-Mobile back up and running. There motto should be "T-Mobile, America's most unreliable home internet."
I've gone through every make/model of Gateway units. Store clerk tells me "this is the latest and greatest, you should have no more issues". My response, "yeah, sure. See you again in a couple months". I currently have the TMO-G4AR flat white unit. It is December 2024 and I am on the 3rd one since September. First one lasted exactly 2 months, then had connection issues, second one lasted 8 days before same, 3rd one is 2 weeks and I'm still dealing with problems; internet will randomly drop, unable to load web pages, smart TV aps won't load, speed all over the place.
I have dealt with tech support so many times I have account information memorized. I have come to learn my first questions are; 1. Is the tower down for maintenance or upgrade? 2. Is there network congestion? I have to get these 2 excuses off the table from the start, so the tech support can't come back after a frustrating hour on the phone and tell me that it's one of those two problems. They have me unplug the unit so they do a reset/update/whatever, plug it back in, then give me some reason why I'm having problems, want me to move the unit, etc. At that point I usually tell them, "My house hasn't moved, the tower hasn't moved, they haven't put a building between the unit and tower, you're saying there's no network congestion or tower issues, I got 3 bars. That leaves only one thing, the Gateway unit is malfunctioning. Put me in your system as having a bad unit. I'm going in to town to replace it."
Last visit the clerk admitted I'd be lucky to get 6 months with the unit. I don't think I've ever gotten 6 months with any unit.
I'd go with another provider, but their signals are weak at my house, so I'm sort of stuck with T-Mobile.
One more thing, this really pissed me off. The original T-Mobile App would show cellular metrics, which I found useful when checking my network for issues. They replaced it with the T-Mobile Lite App which is really nothing more than an advertising platform designed to place their true customer's products in my face. I have yet to find helpful cellular metrics on the app.
Just sharing my 2-cents experience with others.
No T-Mobile Internet available in my area, which was surprising since I live In Westerville, Ohio, a large and prosperous suburb of Columbus, and am on the border of New Albany where commerce and construction are booming as evidenced by Intel currently building largest chip factory in the world here. Put my info on notification list 3 YEARS AGO, and still no availability. WHAT’s UP WITH THAT T-Mobile???
ОтветитьWTF?.. WHO CAN STREAM MOVIES WITH A DATA CAP?... THAT'S JUST UNHEARD OF! I'LL PROBABLY STAY WITH SPECTRUM FOREVER💯
ОтветитьWould T Mobile Home Lite be good for strictly 2 -24 hour security cameras?
ОтветитьI am sorry you are giving false info...I get 300 down on the light plan and they have never cap me we burn up the data 300 megs easy so you sould not say you doing a review...because that is a lie you telling something that happen to you 4 years ago . You must just like people hearing you flap you gums. He'll you probably like hearing yourself...this mab giving you false info🎉 people... sorry people i might not have light i got t moblie home box for 6o plus a month ots white box sits in window dies great not capped. Be save every one
ОтветитьI’ve just switched over to this lite version and I’m currently on the trial plan.
The internet speeds are much better than my last isp, BUT my laptop all of a sudden has Zero internet.
This is after certain websites (Coursera, banking website, and T-Mobile) simply would not load on the laptop.
This morning, I can’t pull up the X website and internet stories on my phone??
I’m just trying to understand what could possibly be going on from an IT perspective and troubleshoot my way out of this nonsense.
Anyone have a clue?
I’ve called both providers multiple times.
