The 1 pitcher claiming he got injured cuz he had to stop cheating and using sticky stuff is the most ridiculous asinine excuse I think I've ever heard!!?? Im sure he did hurt himself cuz he wasnt allowed to use sticky stuff....cuz he probably had to try to throw the ball as hard as he possibly could cuz he didnt have the sticky stuff to help him not have to throw ball as hard but that dirsnt mean he should be allowed to use sticky stuff!? If anything it just shows how incompetent he is at pitching cuz without sticky stuff hes awful!!? And the one guy saying "oh it's so hard to grip the ball good without the sticky stuff" that's the whole point bro!!? That's part of the challenge of pitching!!? It's not supposed to be easy for them to do all kinds of different grips for different pitches...that's part of the challenge of being a pitcher!!? It's supposed to be a Lil difficult to be able to throw some pitches..that way batters have a better chance of getting a hit!!?
ОтветитьThis was almost interesting, but it ends up a nerd fest of poorly read statistics for 20+min.👎
ОтветитьYeh, I'm sure Trevor Bauer needs to rape girls. Come on, dude. It's a money grab
ОтветитьIs shohei
ОтветитьPitchers that mock umps for checking them are just babies. If you're not hiding anything, why get upset and mock the umps.
ОтветитьAnyone attempting to undress on the field should be tossed and suspended. There are kids in the stands.
ОтветитьI don't know why the catchers don't put it on the ball
ОтветитьOne year later and MLB is realizing no sticky substance = more hits by pitch because the balls are slick.
ОтветитьI use spidertack for the 'ole dancing with myself like Billy idol used to say
Ответитьim watching this on june 27th 2023 lol
ОтветитьI honestly don’t understand why the MLB doesn’t just get balls that come from the factory sticky like the Japan League does.
ОтветитьI think your vid may have an issue any time you use the typewriter sound before stats there’s an error
ОтветитьIs it foreign substance if the material is made in the USA ?
ОтветитьArnoldo’s Chapman was also getting older and couldn’t throw as fast anymore so I don’t think the only reason he got worse was foreign substances it was also age
Ответитьme and my friends had spider tack in little league in 2013.. crazy it took THIS long for it to blow up. knew pitchers used stuff but i thought they something else bc spider tack is so blatant cheating
ОтветитьGiolito is a giant he would ruin Donaldson in a fight but if he did that kinda admits guilt lmao more strength than I
ОтветитьIts like when the "security people" at walmart watch you use the self checkout, pay for everything and then ask to see your receipt anyway
ОтветитьThe interview is funny!! Interviewer: "Have u ever used spider tack when pitching" player:...."uh...(long pause).....uh..(long pause)...uh...I don't know quite how to answer that question.." it's a pretty straight forward question...it's yes or no for an answer!? That's not hard!
ОтветитьAlright, FB already did a video on how Giolito went from zero to hero. The answer is a massive change in mechanics.
ОтветитьJesus Baseball players are cry babies lol
ОтветитьThere are many scammers in our country, they are in a light colored palace.
ОтветитьI'm torn. Everyone cheats and you have to compete. Either you cheat to have a job, or let the cheaters take over while you've left behind.
Ответитьwhy not just chew gum that is sticky?
Ответитьputting shohei and darvish, two pitchers that worked their ass off to become a star let alone from a different country on the tumbnail of a cheating scandal is crazy. neither of them ever cheated
ОтветитьIf i was a substance pitcher, I would stop bathing and start developing some repulsive hygiene habits. If the umpires are physically repulsed by you, then they might not be as thorough with their checks.
ОтветитьLooking back on this is funny
ОтветитьAs it turns out alcohol helps lol
ОтветитьJosh Donaldson reminds me of Josh Hamilton
by that I mean people who clearly will be arrested for domestic abuse after their career is over.
I see a video with a caption like this right after Max Scherzer gets ejected for having an illegal substance after the umps forced him to wash his hands with alcohol.
Then a few days later ESPN commentators literally show themselves using rosin, then washing it with alcohol, which proceeds to make a substance sticker than tackum.
Fire all MLB umps. Replace them with computers. We have the technology.
Pleses you got called out for cheating and wanted to be a baby about it
ОтветитьYet the yankees pitcher got caught and he just had to clean his hands off
ОтветитьI will say this for the foreign substance issue: Many pitchers came out and have begged MLB to allow them a substance to use to have some sort of control in colder months, like april and september and october. When you get pitchers who can routinely reach upper 90s, low 100s, you sure as hell don't want one of them uncorking a wild pitch and killing someone. Since the MLB made pitch clocks, the anit-shifting rule, and how many times a pitcher can throw over(all of which helps the offensive numbers), the pitchers need a help, especially with control.
ОтветитьI actually wouldn't mind if they allowed more substances to aid grip. It isn't a physical advantage, and it makes for way more interesting pitch movement.
ОтветитьIf pitchers can use this then batters should just use aluminum bats it's pretty much equivalent
ОтветитьBecause of this, when JD was traded to the Yankees my only comment was “lol”. Think they good now tho. Cole has been off to a great season
ОтветитьI dont see why its banned ...it should be ok for anyone to use it ...
Ответитьusing Trevor Bauer as a person who used illegal substances is a weak argument. He was one of the people trying to out it in the league and get them to crack down on it. When they showed they would not crac down on it, then use it like everyone else. Hes was just vocal about it.
Ответить“Foreign substance” is kind of offensive. Can you say “International substance” instead?
ОтветитьWhy would Santiago's sticky substance be deep in his glove though? His glove is for his glove hand and your opposite hand doesnt even fit well down inside it, so you couldnt hide it very well. He only tucked his pitching hand in his belt, not his glove hand, and didnt take his glove off and rub his hands together much. Meanwhile if he wore that glove multiple times, rosin and especially rosin dust could collect and run down into his glove, dry out, and harden then be reconstituted by sweat and get sticky.
I dont like cheating but I dont like witch hunts either.
Maybe I’m wrong, but for some reason it hurts my gut when you say rpm’s. Surely it’s just rpm. I love the videos tho and I don’t even watch baseball.
ОтветитьThis is why I hate cole he keeps Bitching about how its "Hard to grip the ball"
Sorry but that sounds like a SKILL ISSUE!!
Why end the video saying" unfortunately for them" if they don't make it without cheating they shouldn't be in the league
ОтветитьIt is not hard at all to grip a baseball 😂
ОтветитьEveryone is a gangster until Donaldson is on your face….
ОтветитьWeirdly enough 2022 had a lower Runs/Game, a lower OPS, a lower Slugging, lower Batting Average, less walks, and less home runs compared to 2021 so I'm not sure the cheating did as much to the game as everyone thinks/thought, it really just seems the juiced balls left so pitching gained the upper hand again, so they changed rules for shifts and pitch clocks hoping for more offence (we will probably see juiced balls again in the future)
Ответитьboohoohoo...
ОтветитьWheelchair rugby is the most gnarliest thing Iv ever heard of! 🤘😂
ОтветитьMedia offline?
ОтветитьBonds didn't use performance enhancing substances because "the bat was hard to grip" he was already one of the beat players and had a distaste for how some of his relatives were treated. Garrett Cole's "emotional" interview makes him look like a toddler.
