My Vavle Index controllers are used with an HTC VIve. My controllers sometimes stop working and the icons pulsate in the Steam VR Window. Any thoughts?

i just got a valve index and i dont have a display port so i bought a usb c to display port thingy so i can play my valve index, in my freetime im just watching random stuff like this

I have the HP reverb G2, substantially higher resolution than the index. It has one major flaw, it's a piece of shit lmfao. Windows mixed reality crashing, steamvr crashing, the controllers losing tracking or flying off into the distance or just fucking shaking ever so slightly enough to piss me off lmao perpetually like I had three cups of coffee, got the new cable, powered USB hub, Good batteries (another thing, that piece of shit takes four double a batteries instead of two like the Oculus, just cause fuck me that's why) I am strongly considering selling this beautiful piece of shit and picking up an index. Has anybody tried both? I want to know if the resolution is noticeably garbage on the index compared to the piece of shit G2

Yes they are great. Today comes my second 2.0 basestation. Im excited. Before i had still the 1.0, but have sell my vive headset
